I'm really stuck. I'm playing Syberia the first one. I've completed the second one and really loved it. But wanted to really play the first one also. I've downloaded all patches and it's working wonderfully.

I'm stuck in Barrockstadt, at the wall. I've done everything or so I thought, then decided I must of forgotten something. So started a whole new game.. But once again I'm stuck, in same spot.

I'm in the Guards Booth at the wall and there isn't any guard. This is the same thing that happened to me before. it is really strange.

I've placed the Mammoth Doll back on it's spot. I've wound the train. In other words I'm right at the wall. I talked with Oscar at the ticket booth walked around got annoying phone call then proceeded across the tracks to the building there and inside I see the telescope and focused it to see the dead tree, but no captain. I see two wine glasses but am unable to put any wine or other stuff in it. Because there's no captain.

Here's hoping you can either help me or point me in the right direction to find help.

Thank you so much.

I've used two different walkthroughs. First game I played from the walkthrough from Gameboomers.com, second game I use the walkthrough from www.justadventure.com/walkthroughs/syberia/syperiaJM.shtm. I paid close attention to detail, after getting stuck first time. Followed it to the letter and still I got stuck.

Is this a glitch in the cd I purchased? Or what is going on lol

I can sent a saved game if someone wants to review it and help.

Thanks to whomever gives this a shot. lol

Syberia is very linear. If you miss a step, you can't continue.

It's been way too long for me to remember what you have missed. Check out this walkthrough, it should help you get going.

Thanks you for getting back to me. I'll check that link out. Now I'm assuming that I only need to repeat the, or start, at Chapter 2. The University.

Seems to me that if you miss one part it won't let you move to next level. That is one thing I like about the game. You can do puzzles in any path just so long as they're done.

I really enjoyed Syberia 2, in fact can't bear to part with it, as I know I'll play it again. I'll let you know how it goes.

Thanks again.

Thank you so much. That walk through helped, a lot more detailed. Lot of reading but well worth it. And I was correct about just reading about Barrockstadt: The University.

I am now in Komkolzgrad. What a fantastic Game.

Thanks! :D
I can't express how happy I am. :D ;) :)

After starting this game twice I was so frustrated by the whole thing. I'd read and did exactly what two walkthroughs told me to do. And they, for some strange reason, this one mentioned one tiny little element that I'd missed.

Happy to help Dean'a. I know the person who wrote the walkthrough I suggested. :) She is very meticulous at pointing out every detail. I had a feeling her walkthrough would do the trick.

Sorry I wasn't available to tell you that you don't have to go back and start a chapter over. If you are not progressing, you have missed something.

I wouldn't be surprised if I was stuck where you were, when I played Syberia ;) It was so long ago, I don't recall. But I can guarantee, if I couldn't figure it out, I frantically emailed my friend to find out what I missed!

Hi Lara,

Oh that's okay. I didn't actually start the game over at that chapter. What I meant was that I started reading at that chapter. I did have to walk around some to find that one element. I did a copy and paste to notebook, then printed that part out and started to read. The detail was perfect. In fact I didn't know there was a locked door in the lecture hall, so of course I had to go check it out. lol

Thanks so much.

Happy to help Dean'a.

Resist the temptation of using the walkthrough, unless you've been going on forever and are still stuck. It can ruin the fun of the game. ;) I betcha you know that!

But of course.

I just finished this game. The ending was awesome.

So much detail went into the making of this game. I've just purchased the first one he made. Can't wait for that one.

I am a big fan of adventure games.
