I'll list a lyric, then you guess the artist and track and win... Respect?...

Here's five song's I've come up with. Some are easy, other's not so. The fist person who gets them all wins Pokeman style.....

1... " The man on the hill, see's the sun going down and the eyes in his head, see the world spinning 'round. "

Hint: If you need a hint then I guess you don't like bug's or tours.

2. " Teacher, teacher stop that screaming, teaching don't you see.. Don't wanna be no uptown fool......."

Hint: Guitars and baby angels make a great song.

3. " Flies are buzin' around my head, vultures circling the dead. Picking up every last crumb... "

Hint: Why watch T.V when you can listen to a Radio you negative bastard?

4. " You made me cry, you told me lies, but I can't stand to say good-bye... "

Hint: Dad, I'm going away...

5. " Somebody told me, is everything she want's is everythng she see's. I guess I must've loved you. Because I said you were the perfect girl for me. "

Hint: Mahw!

Rules:

1. One post only! Multiple guess'es do not count! Neither does poor grammar. ;)

2. Each poster get's one extra hint... THAT'S IT!

3. Winner gets:???? Help me here. Keep it reasonable. Come on Mod's, let's have some fun.

I'm guessing I could have cheated and googled these lyrics, but just going honestly, I only know #2 Van Halen's Hot for Teacher and #5 Wham's "Everything She Wants" or whatever that song was called. I liked Weird Al's spoof of that song "Everything She Eats" where he sings "Now I see that you have eaten our baby, I'll call the paramedic if you want me to."

Generally, I'm clueless about lyrics. Most lyrics out there are so bland and generic with terribly predictable rhymes, like your #4 lyric, Cry, Lie, Goodbye. Could be any number of songs as far as I can tell.

I don't want to swipe your idea here or distract from the competition in your first post, but just in case you and I are the only ones interested in this. . . you made me think of a couple snippets of song lyrics I really like. See if you recognize them (they aren't that obscure, but not as recognizeable as your (excellent) selection of Hot For Teacher.)Though actually, my favorite lyric snippet from that song is "I don't feel tardy."

1.)"My hand gets tired and my d!(k get's sore, but the girls of porn want more; so I fan through the pages one more time, and I just let the ji$m fly. . .yeah yeah yeah."

2."It doesn't matter if we all die/ambition in the back of a black car/in a high building there is so much to do/going home time, a story on the radio."

3.) "I'm an American aquarium drinker, I assasin down the avenue."

4.) "He starts to shake and cough, just like that old man in that book by Nabikov."

Number 1 is "The Fool on the Hill", by the Beatles.

I think number 2 is either Van Halen "Hot for Teacher" or Pink Floyd "Another Brink in the Wall". Not sure.

Stumped me on the last 3 though.

Here's a couple...

1 - "We’re bobbing on the surface. And the shadow glides below. They say she feels my heartbeat. Oh..but how I’ll never know"

2 - "Can't taste the taste that I was tasting. Couldn't hear the waste I was making. Tired of the life I was facing."
