Hey, I'm going to be away for the weekend maybe longer as we had a tragic loss today, we suddenly lost our dog, died pretty suddenly, was semi-sick since wednesday but didn't seem serious until earlier today, and typically our local vet closes at noon on Fridays  My wifes a wreck right now, so I've dipped into my gaming fund that I was saving and taking a day trip somewhere tomorrow since can't go far in NJ on $100. Didn't help that our cat almost died as well, got into a fight earlier in the week and was bitten on the neck and got infected, that cost $350 in vet bills, but at least he survived.

Anyway, I guess I'll be back soon.

Sorry about your dog. Didn't you have another pet that died a short time ago? Someone on this board did. We just came back from a five-day trip to Sedona, Arizona today, and one of our mice is sick. Now I'm trying to nurse a mouse back to health after taking it to the vet just a couple of hours after our plane landed (90 bucks - yep, vets are expensive). Not sure if it's going to make it. My daughter will be really upset if it doesn't. Losing your dog is worse, though. Same thing happened with our cat. Was really sick and lethargic one morning, took her to the vet, and she died right on the examination table.

Sorry to hear that FB as I know pets are family. It is sad they can not live next to us forever.

I know how it feels to lose your dog. We lost ours which was 15 years old due to a care hitting it at 3am. I forgot that I let the dog out after i got home from work. So when its your own fault the feelings are that much worst :(
