PC Gaming! I....I just can't give you up!

I have a confession...I guess I was just pissed off last week, I just cannot give up PC gaming!
I realized this when I was in Future Shop looking at Vid Cards with a friend. I was checking out the nVidia Geforce 6850 and the Radeon X850 XT...I could not peel my eyes off these new cards for at least 10 minutes. Plus hearing all this jazz about this Stalker game, I just can't give up my PC games! :D

That was faster than expected!

And right now is the worst possible time to give PC gaming IMO, since we have some big games worth waiting for coming on the horizon - Stalker, B&W2, (I'll excuse Oblivion since you can get that on the XBox. :)

This after a drought of having no good games worth playing until just recently when San Andreas and BF2 came out.... so it would be such a waste!

depends on how you do it.yes building a pc costs more then a console but i rarley pay more then 29.99 for a pc game as the prices drop very quick for the most part.I got chronicles of riddick for $ 19.99 for my pc and it was still going for 39.99 for th Xbox.In the long run pc gaming is about the same price as console gaming.

Another factor to consider is that console games are expensive, and usually finish really fast with little replay value. Devil May Cry, God of War, Castlevania, Metal Gear, etc. these all finish in like 10-20 hours and offer little replay value. The ones that offer the most time are the RPGs, and the ones with the replay value are the sports titles, racing, FPS with online, etc. PC has those too, plus strategy games.
