Does anybody know where I can find an adapter that will let me use my XBox controller on my PS2? This PS2 controller sucks for racing games--the give on the shoulder buttons from NOT pressed to FULLY pressed is so small that they may as well be digital. Actually, I'm not even sure if the shoulder buttons ARE analog....

Thanks for any help you can provide.

I don't think so. Xbox controllers are generally viewed as crap like DC controllers use to be. So, good luck on finding one...

 I don't see why nobody likes the xbox controller, they're not bad at all. And it's deffinitly not a matter of size b/c my five year old cousin has absolutley no problem with them.
I guess people just need something to complain about.

As for the adapter; havent' seen it yet or heard of anyone that has one but i'm sure it's out there somewhere.
Anyway, sorry i couldn't be more help. :(

Gamestop and EB has these adaptors. You have to ask for them though. Most of the time these things are not on display.I have one for my Xbox. The X-connector.It allows me to use PS2 controllers on my Xbox. And it works nicely.Especially with SC II.

So next time you go to either Gamestop or EB ask the guy at the counter about them.

Once again, you don't read before you reply. He asked "is there any converter for him so he can use his xbox controller on PS2." Your answer was....sigh, why do I even try?

Xbox controller feels weird to hold and it's really bad for fighting games like CvS2 and MvC2.

Your five year cousin probably doesn't care if he wins or not. If that's the case, u can say even a monkey has no problem with xbox controllers.

Oh he cares, and actually he's pretty good; a decent partner on co-op in halo on Heroic, not bad in THPS4 or Enter The Matrix either.
But I see what your saying about fighting games. I had a bit better time with the GC version of SC2 than withthe Xbx version. Then again, most fighting games are just button mashers anyway. The only real trouble I had was when trying to pull off special moves.
A for feeling wierd to hold, how long have you speant actually using it, because every controller feels wierd at first.
I guess it's just a matter of prefference.
Back to monkey's though, I wonder how capable a monkey would be at learning videogames. I wonder if it would be considered wrong to conduct a study... That might be fun, playing Halo with a monkey mean. :p

what the hell is wrong with the ps2 controller? its perfectly fine te way it is. and even so, the xbox controller was the one that had to release a new, smaller, controller because of so many complaints

Any controller is good for THPS4 and why would you need precise control for button mashing in Matrix? I would always take mouse and keyboard over a any controller when it comes to FPS. And, yes, SC2 can be played with button mashing, but against good players? hell no. Considering how you can side step and parry the hit, you would get owe by people who only have average knowlegde of the game. Like me, I would kill any button mashers in SC2. Also, like in MvC2, the original Xbox controller's button set up is so darn weird. I can barely do air dashing with Magneto. Type S did improve the situation though. I still think Xbox controllers, in general, suck big donkey's ball.

As far as the monkeys go, having them playing videogame might actually be one of few nicest tests human do to animals. You don't want to know how many mice babies my friend has to kill to do experiements with their brains a week. It is just not nice at all.

Hmm...ok, agreed, SC2 is not a button masher.
doesn't cange my preference of controllers though.
Actally I think the little controller was made for PS2 and gamecube players, becuse pretty much every Xbx player I know likes the original better, except of course for my cousin, but he thinks Good Charolette is HardcorePunk so he basically doesn't count for anything. HAha! :D
