Hows Xbox P3 733mhz, 8gb hd compare to Nextbox hardware?

2 Gigs memory(imagine if Xbox came out about a year later...look at how cheap memory is nowadays!)
120 gig+ HDD
1.2 GHz FSB(ok, well, it WOULD be nice
256 meg Video card

Im a little in the dark on the next Xbox, been searching w/o much luck for specs & anticipated release date...is it way out there or expected in '04?

man, Xbox right now is a steal at that price. Make sure you get LIVE as well for that best-on-earth standardization experience you won't find anywhere else.

I wouldn't! But, I do hope that you have gotten/will get to take advantage of the new XBox bundle! System, two games (Star Wars: Clone Wars and Tetris Worlds - both XBL enabled!), and 2 months of FREE XBL service!!! Are you kidding me!?!

I'm supposed to be getting a PS2 here soon (like, tomorrow, actually :) ), but this deal is too damn good - I've half a mind to buy another XBox instead! Either for me as a second system, or prolly/most likely for a friend for his birthday coming up. Yeah, I know what you're thinking, but don't worry, he is a good friend. A great friend, actually - getting him this would be just and proper "payback" (although his wife might not like it :p ).
