I literally couldn't handle gaming on that small a screen. Sorry, no dice. it's too impractical. A really small mp3 player is one thing. The small size isn't going to affect the sound qualitly or the experience. A midget screen is a definite drawback.

Its great for nintendo. This little sucker is going to get lost real easily and then little Timmy will cry and cry unitl mom gets one to replace it with, which he'll promptly lose again.

Actually, I'd like to see the original GBA reworked with a true backlit screen. The Micro will have one, but I think the original GBA had the best ergos of any handheld, including all the new ones. I would play Golden Sun on it for hours on end, and that was with an attached light. It just seemd to be a better fit than anything currently available.

Maybe they could call it The Gameboy Bright or something...

I'm not sure what nintendo is thinking, but they've mentioned a price point between the sp and ds. Hmm, are we looking at a $99 price tag? Something tells me, yes. They'll probably pack in an optional faceplate to sweeten the deal.
