That is what is suppose to start a Revolution? Its just a small box. Well as understated as it appears, it certainly is an improvement in design over the Gamecube. They certainly didn't take the risk Sony did with their Dirt Devil, but at this point I'd rate the PS3 higher just on the bases of differentiation.

In terms of looks, my rankings are #1 360 #2 PS3 and bring up last the very plain Revolution. Any word on the funky controller?

Yeah it doesn't surprise me you would rate the xbox360's "inhale" as #1, although I am sure if the xbox360 ended up looking like the dirt devil or this sleek exposed cdrom drive you would think it was still number one.

Come on, try and be a little objective here. First, i've never said the XBOX was cute, and i've said the PS2 is cute, and the slimline is even better looking. I've always said the GC is just dumb looking. I've said the PSP is great looking and DS just looks cheap. I don't care about how a console looks. That's never been my bag. But the 360 initially looked rather generic and safe. Well after seeing the PS3, it looks far far more generic and safe than the 360. And now the revolution is the safest looking of the three. Now, side by side, the XBOX 360 looks rather stylish, especially when you see it with the different face plate tricks. And for the record, no I won't be buying one face plate, I don't care how stylish they look.

Oh and the controllers is just a no contest. I mean i'll be buying a PS3, so I really really hope they just redesign the thing, cause not only is it ugly, it looks mighty uncomfortable. The XBOX 360 controller just looks like a functional upgrade over the S-Controller, its definitely a bit more stylish and functional and quality than the S-Controller, but clearly MS didn't try and make a statement with the controllers.

That's actually the sleekest of the three consoles IMO. If I had to choose based on looks, I would choose the Revo no questions asked.

Actually to me the ps3 is the ugliest and I really couldn't say one way or the other wether the rev or 360 looks better but yeah I too could care less what my systems looks like as long as they fit in my gaming area.

Its a sleek minimalist design, perhaps a bit too minimal. But, then nintendo has never made a good looking system in its entire lifespan. At least, the system doesn't have marketing pr guys talking about its power on button as "the ring of light".

It's dead sexy. By far the sleekest, best looking of the three.

But alas, to judge a console by it's looks is insipid.

I'm technically homeless, and without regular access to the internet. Relocating, huge workload, blah blah boring stuff. Good that you stopped by the boards for E3. Maybe you'll hang around :D

I think the new Nintendo looks nice, but I need to hear a whole lot more about games. SSBM online. . . its gonna take something spectacular and new. Pikmin and AC drew me in last time, but what's new this time?

SSBM online - FINALLY. Thats got my interest up a bunch since this is one of the best multiplayer titles of all time.

Looks like I'm going to be broke late this year into next year with all these consoles and games each with something I want to play.

Regarding looks, I'd say the Revolution is best due to its small size as long as it can function as well as the bigger boys (pun intended). I have stereo equipment & video consoles all over the damn place - I need smaller equipment even to make it fit now-a-days.

But who cares about looks right? Right?

AHHHHH! Good god people it is way smaller than other Nintendo consoles, it has no gay handle nor is it purple. It is backass compatible all the way back to the NES and still you *****! I'm what you idiots here call an Xbot and even I think it is way cooler than any other Nintendo console. So it doesn't "breath in" like the 360 or "blow hard" like the PS3 but it is tiny and normal colored so what is the problem? What is really the topic at hand are those horrific PS3 controllers!

Well, I know this is blashpemy, but Miyamoto is just one guy, and he's past Glory days are in his past.

Robert Plant just put out a new album. Even got some decent reviews. But does anyone think its better than old Zepplin?

They need to invest in the ideas of some up and coming young "miyamotos" and take a chance on new ideas more often than they do. Yeah, I still think Miyamoto may have some great games left in him, but one guy does not a company make.
