Your going to doom a system because of 1 game?? I seen pics of the new ghost recon coming out for the xbox 360 and i was impressed with it.Dont base a console on 1 game every console has games with mediocre graphics.

Saw an xbox 360 intro movie. Yes, we can now officially call it xbox 360. The good news is that they're going with 512MB of ram. It would have been a huge mistake going with just 256MB. Watercooling and heat sinks along with fans? Sounds like the Dreamcast, and the DC was the noisiest console I've owned. Customizeable faceplates for the front. 3 cpu cores. And the rest is pretty much as stated. The controllers will be wireless, the center button brings up your gooey.

Are the Current Xbox games (Riddick, Splinter Cell:CT, Doom 3) going to look prettier than the Launch titles of 360? That would be freakin funny! :p

I went on to Xbox.com and saw the line up of games coming. Kameo: Elements of Power was among them? This game was originally supposed to be a Gamecube game "AT LAUNCH" and then when M$ baught Rare...Kameo was supposed to be on Xbox...now 360 is getting it? How good is it going to look?

Well, despite the cartoony looking HUD, you can't deny that GR3 looks much better then the DOA4 pics or the PD0 pics. I'm still waiting for something like the following to be shown:

And I thought I was the only one unimpressed. Those games looked veeeeery early in development. They looked good...but not great...you'd think 3 IBM processors, 512MB RAM and ATI's latest and greatest would do better. I'm not a fanboy at all but concerning that MTV special...what the hell was that?!?! Not impressive at all...

It looks like Perfect Dark 0 was a GC game--------> Xbox game--------> Xbox 360 game. I can't believe M$ is hanging thier hat on this game being thier Halo. M$ better have some great surprises come E3.

You're right on that one. Kameo is now a 360 title. I was bored by that game when I saw it on the xbox, and its still going to be boring and a stiff on 360. Watched some trailers on Sega's game Condemned. Nice lighting, thoroughly derivative fps with some first person combat thrown in. Utterly forgetable. Shaky framerate. Good visuals, but nothing to write home about. Nothing remotely sega in this title. Just another dark fps with lots of killing. No offense, but boring. Of course, if you're a hardcore xbot, condemned is the schiznit.

The xbox 360 launch is going to suffer from the same rushed to market launch lineup that all consoles suffer with, but the lack of b/c with this unit is going to hurt big time. You'll have these great looking lame playing expensive 360 titles and you'll probably wind up playing your regular xbox instead.

Regardless, those Perfect Dark 0 screens look horrid. I think I've seen better graphics on the PC 4 years ago.

Ghost Recon 3 looked alright though the resolution seemed shocked. When the heck is Ghost Recon 2 coming out on the PC?!

Okay I m confident the gameplay in the game would be amazing. I am confident RARE will blow us away.

What leaves me straching my head is, why wasnt this game just released on the Xbox.
We dont know how cool the game is until we play it. But still the graphics are okay. But revolutionary, or next gen. Thats for sure. But that shouldnt disqualify it as a good contendor.

I'm very interested in this game. Just wished it came out on the xbox...:/

Sure they do. How do you think MS is going to get out 25 to 30 games by the end of the year for xbox 360? By telling developers early on, to can the games they were going to put out for xbox and move them over to 360, that's how. Basically you'll be seeing current gen gameplay with a next gen facelift, which may or may not leave you impressed visually. But, very few launch games will actually qualify for true next gen status.
