PRESS RELEASE

Horizon Simulation Ltd has signed with Specialist Aviation PR Agency, Chaloner Associates to promote its extensive range of detailed real world sceneries for flight simulation.

Horizon Simulation works with leading international data providers and software developers to create highly accurate, detailed, and realistic virtual models of the real world for use in both training and gaming simulations.

Over the course of the next year, Horizon will be developing and publishing scenery enhancements for a number of the world’s most sophisticated consumer flight simulations; developed by highly talented software engineers, and using the most accurate and detailed source data available, which will give simulator pilots the same views from the virtual cockpit that real aviators enjoy whilst flying

To this end, Horizon has hired the expert skills of Chaloner Associates to provide clear, concise and timely information to its partners in the media.

Paul Chaney, Managing director of Horizon simulations commented, “We have decided it is time to spread the news, we have a lot to talk about this year and want to get the message out – we’re looking forward to a long and fruitful relationship with Chaloner Associates – they have built up strong relationships within the Aviation and Flight Simulation community and we feel confident that they will be able to provide us with an excellent service.”

Ruth Chaloner, founder of Chaloner Associates added: “We are very excited to be adding Horizon Simulation to our portfolio of Aviation clients – it is always a pleasure for us to work in this genre; we look forward to getting our teeth into the first project… ”

I was amazed by the photographic realism found in X-Plane. Detailed down to roads, railways bridges & landmarks, its a great way to tour the country side w/o leaving home.
Alls thats missing are people in real time, lol!

It would be nice to see this geographic accuracy spill over into all gaming genres, especially strategy games.

I'm looking forward to the day when I can actually buzz my house in a virtual flight sim world. :)
