XBox2 to be released May 12

I just read on Reuters that Microsoft has announced the release of the new XBox on May the 12th. As in one month from now. No details were in the article, but they did note that the timing of the release was unusual as new hardware releases normally occur after the E3 show.

Actually they are UNVEILING it then. No ship date has been announced.

Xbox 360 unveiled? Yep sounds about right.....yet this will be behind closed doors. Only top execs get to see it...I bet!

According to the article, M-soft is doing a huge media splash May 12, with simulcasts via MTV to North America, Europe, and Asia.
