I want to know who everyone has in their final four. My Terps are in the NIT so I don't really care, but it is still fun. Anyway, I have Illinois, NC, Louisville, and Syracuse. Ilinois and NC are popular picks to win it all, but I love the 'Cuse and Louisville too. Syracuse because they have the experience and Boeheim can flat-out coach. Louisville because I really think that they should have gotten a 1 or 2 seed. Of all the teams that got hosed I think they got hosed the worst on that 4 seed. I mean damn they won 29 games. What more can you do?

I can't remember exactly who the top four seeds are, but I'm pulling for either Arizona, Texas, or the winner of the Charlotte/NC State game to make some noise.

I'm almost positive Illinois will get upset, but I have a feeling either UConn or UNC may end up winning it all.

Man I wish that you were in my office pool. I have Texas losing to Nevada tonight. Nevada is extremely underrated. Also, I have UConn losing pretty early too. They were a recipient of an extremely generous #2 seed imo. I simply cannot believe that they could get a 2, and Syracuse could get a 4 after the way that Syracuse kicked their ass in the Big East final.

Ohh, that is where we must part ways. I have UCONN going all the way. ;)

My Final Four picks: Illinois and Washington, Connecticut and Syracuse.
Champeenship: UCONN over the Fighting Il-li-ni.

Uh ho! They are marked buddy, they... are... marked.

Well, Texas has already lost, so most of my money is now on Arizona. They have the talent, but can they get it done?

I dunno, Prince. I don't see UConn losing anytime before Sweet 16, and that will only happen if they are playing a very good team.

Though Duke is a #1 seed, I have the feeling they are almost an underdog team if they play against another high seed.

The winner of that NC State/Charlotte game will give UConn fits in their second round game. They may even take them out. If not then Kansas will get them in the sweet 16.

As far as Arizona---I have them squeaking, and I mean squeaking, by Okie State in the Sweet 16, but then bowing out to Illinois in the Elite 8.

God I hate Duke with a passion. I really don't think that they should have gotten a #1 seed. They lost to my Terps twice, so how good can they be? I have them losing to the 'Cuse in the Sweet 16 in a war.

I dunno about Kansas. They haven't been impressive down the stretch this year. They may beat Charlotte or NC State, but I think UConn would win by double digits.

If Duke wouldn't have won the ACC, they definitely would not have a #1 seed. Wake Forest pretty much gave the seed to Duke after losing to State in the tourney. Don't worry, Duke's lack of bench will be their downfall. If they play 'Cuse, PF Hakeem Warrick will single-handedly dominate Duke's foul-prone front line.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA! Bucknell! I called that one! Hee hee!
Hey, don't give me that look. I did too call it! It's right here on paper.

I'm doing pretty well in 3 of the brackets. But I totally butchered the Austin one. Ugh. I was sure wrong on Syracuse wasn't I? All I've got left is Duke and Oklahoma - and that's just for one more win each. Oh well, guess I can start doing what I should've been doing all along... and that's root for Michigan State. (Whom I had losing to Old Dominican Republic, or whatever, in the first round.) So, I better I hope I'm right in picking Duke to win just one more - they'll be playing MSU in the Sweet 16.

Todays' best game is Kentucky vs Cincinnati. If Kentucky can win that one, then I think they'll make it to the Final Four. (That's my "revised Austin pick".)

Tomorrow's doozy is Florida vs Villanova.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA!

UW-Milwaukee! I called them too!
First against 'Bama. Then against BC. :D

My predictions are all screwed up, but I'm glad there are more upsets this post season.

I think I will now stick with Arizona vs UConn or UNC in the Championship game.

HAW! Did you guys happen to catch the little half-time skit on Coach K. during the U.Conn/NCST game? It started out with some highlights - with some background music. Did you recognize the music? It was straight out of Halo 2! (Peril being the name of the song.) Hee hee!

Was it the main song with the monks chanting/singing? That's the only one I can recognize w/o and guide.

I missed the NCSU/UConn game. I picked State, but was still surprised that they won. If they beat Wisconsin, they will have to go against UNC, which will definitely be a good game.

Duke won. Whooo hoooooo. It wasn't by much. They are definitely beatable this year, but who will beat them?

Hey guys why no mention of UConn? And Glock...you know that Washington is next against L'ville right? Other than my two predictions for Glockstar I goy little else right. The 'Cuse really really hurt me. I only have 5 of my Elite 8 still alive. Oh and one more thing---how about that West Va. game? That was one of the best tournament games of all time rivaling the Duke-Kentucky Laettner game.

Nope, nope... it was the dancing-butterfly-with-asniper-rifle-song, Peril

Hey guys why no mention of UConn?

Yeah. Chalk one up for the Dark Prince. He got that one right, while almost everyone I picked to win has lost. Hmm.....I guess it's time to root for Michigan St. and Wisconsin. Go Spartans!!!!!!! Go Badgers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Normally I would predict Louisville to beat Washington, but in this special case of who-ever-I-pick-loses, I'm going for Washington as well.

err my bracket is all messed up especially with Wake Forest losing. I have Arizona, Kentucky and NC now as my only final four options since Wake lost. Then all my other teams were losing too. There went 5$

Yup and chalk another one up for the Prince too. Man Louisville did not have that much trouble with Washington last night.

Ah yeah. How do you like me now!?! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

http://www.nexternal.com/bigtop/images/96029.jpg

Sparty on!

That makes, uh, three Big Ten schools in the Elite Eight. Not bad for "a weak conference", eh?

-

My brackets have all gone to pot. Alls I've got left is Illinois. I did terrible. I did so bad overrall that my fascinatingly awesome upset picks (Bucknell and UW-M) were undermined and undone.

Kudos to those of you who tabbed LOUA-ville. (You know who you are. :p )

But it looks like it's all about Illinois and North Carolina at this point. Villanova had them (UNC), man; I thought for sure 'Nova was going to win last nite! But NC is just too good. Villanove is an Elite Eight team, really. The Illini/Tar Heels championship matchup is going to be a doozy, boy.

Well that is 3 out of 4 for my final four---Illinois, L'ville, and NC. Boy did Syracuse screw me or what? Anyway, now I have NC in the final which is probably pretty close to a lock. MSU has really overacheived, but the buck stops right here. The problem is on the other side. I have L'ville beating Illinois which I just don't know about now. It really looks like Illinois may be this year's "team of destiny".

I'm now a neutral fan, since Arizona screwed themselves out of that win. I can't believe they couldn't take care of the ball with less than a minute left, and didn't get the ball to Stoudamire for the last shot in OT (though He had a bad game, Stoudamire shot over 50% from 3-Pt. Give him the freaking ball!!!!)

Every game this weekend was exciting, but I also think Michigan St overachieved. I really didn't want to see the big green "S" anymore. :D
