Any games you might have "finally" gotten around to playing? If any of you people are like me you have games still "in the plastic" that you purchased months ago but never played. I've got one less now...Gungrave. I know it may not be your "cup o tea" but I like "blast em up games" and Gungrave was just what the doctor ordered. I needed a break from PotC which I've been playing off and on for a couple weeks now.

I've got a few more still waiting their turn as I contine to build my gaming library and their time will come. What game has finally made it's way to your console after waiting it's turn on the shelf?

Well...

Yes, and no.

I waited so long to reply because I was hoping that I'd "get a chance" to play more of Brute Force before responding. But... alas... no.

I finally broke this game out of the plastic a few weeks ago, but I haven't played it any more since that one day. Um, the game is kind of... boring. I'd like to see if it gets better... but apparently I don't think it's worth the risk; or something. I keep reaching for the old stand-bys... like MotoGP2... ummm, MotoGP2... and, uhhh MotoGP2. Hmmm. Ehh, anyway...

Oh yeah, I also have the Zelda Ocarina of Time bonus disk - still in the plastic. But I have no intention of opening it. Ever.

Not because I think the game's going to be worth something, it's just that I have no desire to play that game whatsoever. I'd trade it in, but GameStop wouldn't even give me a cookie for it. I'm sure it'd fetch more on ebay... but ebay can frag off! So there it sits... pretty in plastic.

Yesterday, out of the blue, I decided to take <i>Project Gotham Racing</i> for a spin, after being utterly disappointed in what this game had to offer first time 'round.

Well...after playing post <i>Kudos Challenge : introduction</i> (<i>only</i> level I tried out initially), I must admit...HOW THE HECK COULD I HAVE LEFT THIS GAME COLLECTING DUST FOR SOOOOOO LONG ???

Man, utterly cool and challenging levels that take place during -the night-rainfall-misty conditions-etc-, San Fransisco's catching major air then sliding through them thight corners, racing against AI opponents who will stop at <i>nothing</i> to earn a victory, replays that seem to come straight out of some high octane Hollywood chase scene...<i>too much</i> to mention ! Even earned a new helmet for playing longer that an hour (as the saying goes : time flies by when you're having <i>TOO MUCH FUN</i> !!!)

Now if you'll excuse me...have to try out that new helmet, take on some <i>Tokyo Kudos Challenge</i> and in the process listen to a cool Japanese radio station...

I actually did that a couple months back with Eternal Darkness. I had bought it used for 14 bucks when I bought REremake a while ago and it sat on the self for months. i had played it that same day but did'nt find it interesting so I forgot about it until I read a couple reviews and how much praise it had gotten. so then I decided to pick it up again and it was pretty awesome. i never realized how popular that game was.
