It is a new Game with new gameplay. It seems that Seven Sorrows will be a mixture between Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Baldurs Gate and Diablo.
This Game looks very pretty and the Multiplayer part shall rise the fun. 4 Players can play at the same time like in Final Fantasy CC. Many new Charakters were made. New areas and levels were created.
You need many hours to see the complete game. This is one of the greates Multiplayer games. Nobody will have so much fun alone in front of the PC.

But unfortunately the game shall just be released on the Playstation2 and the Xbox. Every Gamecube owner is sad at the moment. This Genre is very rare on this console and Just-On-Plattform-owner will miss one of the greatest games.
But after some emails from fans of the gauntlet series there is a possibility that Gauntlet Seven Sorrows is going to be releasedon the Gamecube.

I love Gauntlet, and I love Midway. But I'm sorry, I can't help you; I hate Nintendo.

When you start up a petition calling for them to go third-party and bring their games to the other consoles then you come back and let me know. ;)

Thanks for all the links and info and pics on Seven Sorrows tho'!

All six of the playable heroes will have their own unique backstory, complete with emotional baggage to sort, that will figure into the quest. A tweaked leveling system will let you buff up your hero's weapons, equipment, and magic via what's being termed "weapon, class, and iconic skills." The characters will also have access to "junction skills," which appear to be team attacks that let you work with your fellow players to unleash hefty attacks on clumps of foes. The basic combat system, traditionally a button-mashing fest of cramp-inducing proportions, is being expanded to both be deeper and offer two levels of play. From the sound of it, less-seasoned gamers will be able to get by with old-school button mashing, while vets will be rewarded with more-complex layers of moves and attacks to add depth to combat.

Besides the expected offline multiplayer modes, Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows is set to offer some meaty online options as well. The game will support up to four players online for co-op play, which is just what the doctor ordered for many fans of the series. In addition, Midway is aiming to create a community for players with the inclusion of a trade and barter system that will let you make enterprising use of the items you collect.

I am there!

But you can help the Gamecube owners. We also want to play the Gauntlet games. I hope you will change your mind.
As you said Gauntlet games are great. But the PS2 version just has a 2 player multiplayer.
And not everybody has all 3 consoles.
And for multiplayer parties this game is going to be excellent.
Please help us.

Hi guys

I read some people are disappointed about the missing Gamecube Version of Gauntlet Seven Sorrows.
I think this will help:

Some people said, this team already conviced Midway to release Mortal Combat Deception for Nintendos Gamecube.

But they need help.

nintendo is dead so is mario. while mario may be gone nintendo can be revived by one hero. link. but will his next quest save nintendo? will it be the pheonix down cloud saved in final fantasy 7 instead of reviving aerith? we can only wait ok now reread that with taps (the song played at a soldiers funeral) plaing in your mind
