I received the latest issue of Nintendo Power in the mail a couple of days ago, and there are several pages of upcoming DS games along with many tantalizing screen shots.

But the biggest surprise was about Rayman DS, in that you will optionally be able to control things via a 'virtual analog controller' on the DS screen. You'll be able to adjust the size and placement of the controller. The screenshots looked killer.

Polarium is an interesting looking puzzle game in which you hold the DS sideways so that your screen is on the left and your opponents' is on the right. It's an unusual looking dueling-style puzzle game.

The adventure game Another looks bizarre with awesome graphics and a strange storyline involving a ghost.

The screen shots for Bomberman DS are fantastic, full 3D, but the big surprise is the use of voice recognition for control.

And finally, the game Gyakuten Saiban is like an interactive comic book about the courtroom antics of a defense attorney. Gee, here in the US it's always the prosecutors who are the good guys. Anyway, the screen shots look awesome, with great looking anime.

Was there any hint as to win we might expect to see Another Code: The Two Memories released in the US?

Also, any hint of what quarter we might expect an RPG? Or the much anticipated Advance Wars and Animal Crossing?

Castlevania DS had some good coverage in PLAY magazine this month. They are calling it the DS's "Killer App."

Any good non-EA app that's not mini-games would be kller at this point.

waiting patiently. . . . .
