Man has the DS been making me buy so many GBA games

Not that I have to have a DS to play these games, but on my SP I really didn't play or buy many games, but the DS plays GBA so well I am like a kid at christmas :D

Boktai 2: Solar Boy Django
Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow
Castlevania: Circle of the Moon

Please to be explaining, thank you, yes?

I can't stand the ergos of the SP. Couple that with the fact that it's missing two buttons and the fact the buttons are too slickery and don't stick out far enough and you can understand why I don't buy too many games for mine either. Especially action games. Though I think I'd like to.

I did buy this grip/handle dealio for it, but still, my wrists go numb after too long. I'm looking for something better...

Exactly the SP was cute and well that is about it. I wanted a original GBA with internal lighting but ended up with a small little square that sucked to hold and play (especially for those action games). So now the DS is that GBA I always wanted but never quite got. I know they sucker me for 3 total system sales before I got what I wanted, but I am completely satisfied now. Now I just await some good 2d games using the DS's full capabilities Castlevania being on the top of my list.

On another note, devilish sounds like it will be cool if it comes this way, its a break out clone. Break out type games work quite well on touch screens, as I have played many on my pocketpc (bust'em and bust'em 2 being the best I have played). Also for you gaddy, there is rumor (or maybe more than just rumor) that a metroid based pinball game is in the works (another genre that worked well on pocketpc because of the verticle screen). Anyway in summation the DS to me really isn't any different than a pocketpc, but I have always loved pocketpc gaming since I bought one. Basically though I got fed up with the short battery life even with an extended battery, that and not too many big name video game companies support the pocketpc platform.

Awesome rumor. A metroid themed pinball would be VERY cool.

I agree with everything else you posted here. This system has revitalized my interest in handheld gaming and in the GBA library. While I'm very much looking forward to the new stuff, the wait has been no big deal because of how much better GBA games play now.

Regarding Boktai; I've seen the first one available pretty cheap. Are these cool? I kinda thought maybe the light-sensor thing would be too gimmicky, and I didn't look into it because it came out when I was mostly gaming indoors or on my Gameboy Player at home. Is Boktai pretty cool?
