I just realized that this game was released last November. But I've heard practically nothing about it. The site (www.the-fall.com) says its available worldwide so I suppose it should have an English version. So has anyone actually gotten their grubby hands on it? Why don't I hear anything about it? Did I miss something?
This was a game I was looking forward to like a year or two ago.

Wow, does that ever look like UFO: Aftermath. Turn-based I suppose? If I see it in the bargain bin, I'll get it. For now though, you can't do wrong with Silent Storm. It too is a hybrid RPG?TBS game... but set in a pseudo-sci WWII setting.
""The combination of story, and combat and character system makes The Fall a worthy successor to the Fallout series, which has been the benchmark for post-apocalyptic RPGs to this day."
Daily routines for every single NPC enhance realism.
Novel fight system for real-time and simulated turn-based battles and countless tactical options develop replay value.
New possibilities of interaction with the environment such as digging for water, hunting and gutting animals.
More than 500 weapons.
Direct control of vehicles like pick-ups or buggies.
Camera allows many different perspectives, from ISO to 3rd person.
All sounds interesting enough, more so that The Fall wasnt [?] discussed here previously.

The Fall I think is space-bar-pause-based like Baldur's Gate (and UFO Aftermath for that matter).
Indeed, I'm quite surprised that I don't hear a stitch about this game here, or anywhere else for that matter. I heard about it sometime last year or last last year while looking for Fallout 3 information and told myself to check it out when it came out. Now I looked it up again almost on a whim and found it was out last November, but I've heard nothing about it, and can't find it anywhere.
