Hey, didn't know where else to put this thread so I put it here...
My wife and I are trying to decide whether we go with Dish Network or Direct TV and we really don't know much about either.
Anyone have any advice?

What do you want to know? I have Direct TV and I have not had any problems with it. It is reasonable(at least in comparison with cable), and it rarely goes out. What else is there?

Well, we are/were trying to decide whether to go Direct TV or Dish Network. So we have a positive response for Direct TV, in that case. :)

I doubt that you will go wrong with either company---especially if you compare it to your average experience with a typical cable company. I love it when my digital cable company tries to get me back, and I tell them how lame the service is, and how overpriced they are compared to DirecTV. Seriously, if I were you, I would work them both to get the best possible deal or promotion. When I signed up I ended up getting NFL Sunday Ticket for free, and I got the best plan for the price of the cheapest plan for my first four months.
I have Dish Network and have been happy with them for years. My friends have Direct tv and all in all they are both compeditive and both offer the same value. It is a wash just see which is throwing more hardware for free at you...
