Trying to load DVD games on my pc but error DLL file missing/not found always comes up? Anyone know what this means??

There are several reasons DLL files can be missing. One is from spyware.

What is the dll file name that is missing?

The error says: required DLL file, D3D8.DLL was not found. ???

It could be a simple problem. DirectX is what I suspect needs to be updated.

If that doesn't work,....
Try upgrading your video drivers.

Another thing to try,
Bring up task manager (ctrl, alt, delete) and end task on all unnecessary applications that are running in the background. (Rebooting will bring all of them back.)

Great!!

I had a feeling it was DirectX. But with so many variables, I wanted to give you all the routes I knew of to take just in case ;) .
