It might run okay...not too grand, though.

It should run fine, however, you may want to free up as much resources on your machine as possible, and maybe reduce some of the graphical effects to enable a slick framerate aimed at getting the modem full attention from the CPU so it can receive the packets of info without further bogging down the machine with graphical eye candy. This though is not as important as logging onto a server with very low ping, that is probably the most important.

Next select weapons that have high rates of fire and spread out.... AK-47's or Spaz shotguns work. Then you'll have a better chance at the old spray and prey technique. Grenades work wonders too. That's my advice for ya. It worked for me back when I was playing Team Fortress Classic, it should still work for you now.

I have to say if you have access to broadband get it. I finally have it and when it comes to gaming it has brought the online aspect back to the center of my attention. I played Call of Duty UO last night till 1am in simple deathmatch mode and had a blast. I have tried CS source and it is cool but I think I enjoy the Call of Duty more. It is the sheer WW2 effect done so well. I tried HL2 deathmatch and it was good as well.

Now I am looking to find some more fun titles. Dsl has opened a world I have not been in since Quake 2 time for me years ago.
