What about adventure games?!

One of my favorite genres of games is adventure in the style of SCUMM games (Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, etc.) to those full-of-charm Sierra Quest series (Police Quest, Space Quest, etc.). And we've had some great newer ones too, like The Longest Journey. While some might argue that the genre may be dying (which I really dont believe) it's a little disappointing not to have an Adventure Games category on these forums. (That way I'd know how many ppl share my thought that Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis is one of the greatest adventure games ever to have been made ;) ).

Playing Grim Fandango now and eagerly awaiting Sam 'n Max 2.

Well, if you like TLJ, then make sure not to miss Syberia... It's a good one. A little on the easy side, but it has a solid story, with the lead up to number 2...

I didn't quite get to play thru all of TLJ (in fact I only saw the first few scenes), but I could tell that it's pretty well done. Apart from that, I haven't been able to get around playing Syberia but I've made it a point to do so... someday.

I saw the graphics and trailer film for Syberia. They were mind-blowing! Big news is that it'll be in shelves this fall so keep your eyes peeled
