SOCOM vs. Ghost Recon

I want to purchase a game with the SOCOM genre. I do not know which game to choose. If any games are better than SOCOM or ghost recon please tell me. I may not get broadband so do not let that influence your decision.

Ghosrt Recon is one of the most realistic war games ive ever played. 1st person. i've only played it on xbox and PC so i don't know how different it is for PS2... but i got socom and took it back in 2 days later...

Depends if you're playing online or not. Offline GR buries SOCOM, ask anyone. Online...wait a sec...GR isn't ONLINE for PS2...

I remember how slim the list of online PS2 shooters are...I'm sorry...get a frikkin Xbox.

Well i say go with Socom 2!!! hands down it will beat out GR the single player aspect has been improven so much then teh first one. you know have bonus obj's to complete that you ahve no clue what they are until you gt them. Your team AI is improved upon as well. Now the onlien playing of socom 2 is a big plus they added new maps and brought the old maps back as well. i have not gotten booted yet so that's a good sign that they fixed the servers. oh and if u still can't decide if u want socom 2 then just go here best onlien community for soocm 2 www.socomeseals.com
