What do you plan to do?

I thought I would just look through the feedback posts here, and wasnt surprised to see mostly negative comments. but my question is, you guys respond to the questions about technical issues and say you will try to fix them, but what about the cosmetics and organization of the new site, there where many complaints about that as well. You said it was a new corporate look or something. Does that mean it is out of your power to fix or are you considering suggestions on that too?

Yes, as I mentioned before, much of the cosmetics of the site are out of my control. Our company has decided to push for a "standard" look across all of our sites, and the new look is pretty much here to stay. We will be able to make some minor changes, but for the most part, things probably won't change a whole lot. The fixed width is here to stay (though I'm fighting to have it centered, instead of left justified), the colors (or lack thereof) are here to stay, the overall navigation is here to stay (with the exception of sorting game titles - that will be improved).

We will be adding more functionality at the platform level that will help give people a feeling of a mini homepage, but that will take a little bit of time. I've explained a lot of this in other threads, so I'd ask that you read through this post and submit future responses there:
