P.S. For all of you who remember me, I am "MGS Fan" and I'm back. ;)

Here Is An Update...

-The Halo series is now my favorite, replacing the MGS series.

-Metal Gear Solid 3 is the best in the series, in my opinion.

-I've worked at GameStop for over a year.

MGS Fan, where you been?

I'm guessing the new name had to do with a forgotten password, right?

I agree with most of your predictions, though I really have no opinion on GC, GBA or PC games. I haven't played Chronicles of Riddick, but it is on sale for $14.99 at Best Buy and I'm thinking of getting it (though I wouldn't have time to play it immediately).

I disagree with ESPN NFL 2k5 being best sports game. I think NCAA Football 2005 squeaks it out due to gameplay, though EA needs to have better presentation in their games.

Best Voice Acting may have to go to GTA: San Andreas. Samuel L. Jackson should be nominated for an award for his voice acting.

As far as MGS3, it's definitely the best of the bunch, but a better camera angle would have done wonders for the game. Konami needs to forgo the "Cinematic approach" of games when it comes to the camera, and give the gamers more control. This is really the only thing that I think Splinter Cell has over MGS: the user control over the camera.

I'm... confused.

Are these your picks, MGSF, or GameSpots? (I haven't seen any such GS article.)

Oh, they have to be yours.
Best Story = Snake Eater ?!?

-

So you work at GameStop, eh?
I used to.

Wonder if you could answer something for me:
What the heck is going on with Crash-n-Burn?!? The game was supposed to have been out last Wednesday!

Thanks.

I saw Crash N Burn at my local EBgames today. I believe the price was either $19.99 or $29.99

I have been around, mostly in the Bungie.Net forums. I see these forums arent as popular as they used to be. It is a very slow paced community compared to the way it used to be. I agree with GTA: San Andreas probably winning the Voice Acting award. As for MGS3, it is truly amazing, although more control over the camera would have been awesome and here is hoping that it is released on the XBOX with full camera controls.

They are my predictions and yes, MGS3's story blows everything out of the water. About Crash n Burn, I havent seen it anywhere.

Yeah, I agree. This general discussion forum is usually dead, but the system specific forums usually have something going on. The Xbox forum looks to be the best one for game discussions.
