Halo Online Co-op?

OK, so i got the game, went online to play some CTF and in the game setup on the lobby, with people connected to your server, you can actually choose Cooperative. Then you can select the level and the difficulty and some other things. The only thing you can't do is Start the Game. It says you need 2 players on a single Xbox console. But why would they go through the trouble of implementing this interface if you cant play it anyway??

It almost seems like we might get an unlock patch as DLC in the future...

Yeah, I saw that too. It would be real nice if we could coop play on Live. But, Bungie said that feature would not be in the game, so chances are we won't be seeing this.
