Wow. Were there some great college games this past weekend, or what?
Though the homestate rivalry sure was doozy (talkin' 'bout Michigan vs Michigan State), I think I enjoyed the North Carolina game even more. :eek: That was awesome. Heh, heh. It felt like 1978 didn't it? (Sorry Darwin.)

Well, it looks my Super Bowl prediction was a little off. I don't think the Redskins are going to make it.

I think we just saw a preview of the AFC championship game this past weekend. Since week one I've been riding on the Patriot bandwagon (love Tom Brady!), but those Steelers... I don't know... there's something about them this year.

In the NFC, is there anyone to challenge the Eagles?

Probably not in the NFC, but my Ravens should have beaten them last week. If only they had Todd Heap...or Jamal Lewis...or Jon Ogden...or a quaterback that could do anything.

In the college ranks the best game of the week was the one that my Terps were involved in. They beat Florida State for the first time ever...woohoo!

No, it wasn't a great weekend in college football. My Texas A&M lost to Baylor. Freaking Baylor!!! Other than that, it was great to see overrated Miami and Florida State to lose, especially Miami. As long as Brock Berlin is the QB, they will always suck, IMO. I actually hope Virginia Tech wins the ACC, since they were heavily underrated at the beginning of the season. I see Oklahoma (can anyone stop Jason White AND Adrian Peterson in the same game?) playing against USC in the Championship game.

I still don't like Drew Brees. (Here's an excuse). He's playing well because it's his contract year, and he has had a #1 pick breathing down his back since week one. I will give Brees credit, he's playing well. Surprisingly well. I still think QB Phillip Rivers will be better if he develops (he was pretty lethal at NC State).

I haven't enjoyed many NFL games this season, since the local networks keep showing Carolina Panthers games. They are struggling this year due to injury, but they have always been a bit boring to watch even when they were winning.
