Legacy of Kain... I want a new game!

Does anybody know anything about a new Legacy of Kain game? Those games rock, and the ending of the last game still left a bit to be answered.

LoK: Defiance is that last one I've heard of. I still think the original Blood Omen on PSone was the best though...

The rumors I'm hearing... and since it hasn't been printed in any form of reputable media, I still call it a rumor... is that some of the big people with Eidos (Amy Hennig, Richard Lemarchand, and Jen Fernández) have left, and that the voice actor who played the Elder God (Tony Jay, a man of INCREDIBLE voice talents and a bio with dozens of past references) has passed away recently. Also, it looks like Eidos was unimpressed with the hundreds of thousands of LoK: Defiance copies sold. Finally, even sketchier rumors say Eidos itself may be about to sell out to a much larger company.

Put all of this together, and I'd say the chances of another game being made is HIGHLY unlikely. Though, if anyone finds out more information, or finds out this is untrue, PLEASE let me know. This is one of my two favorite series', and I want to see how it turns out!
