Final fantasy 7 problem

im having problems on final fantasy 7 - in the shinra building just after red Xlll has joined you party and sephiroth has killed everyone and you have to foloow the blood trail. on floor 68 there is door you are meant to run through to get to the next level, it has green beams behind it. For some reason the door will not open at all. i have installed the game patch but still no luck.

any ideas

If I remember correctly, theres like an air duct nearby, you have to go into that and that will lead you into a different part of the Shinra building where you'll get another keycard. However, its a loong time since i've played this so i'm not 100% lol
