If you haven't been through the rest of the site today, you may not have noticed, but the rest of the site has finally been transitioned to the new look and feel like the forums. Let us know if you come across any problems!

Hi Chris,
If I understand correctly, both AudioReview.com & PCPhotoReview.com are due to get vBulletin change. If so, do you by chance have an idea on when?
Thanks!

While there are alot of new features that I like, I do have some issues with the new design. It's mainly the layout, it looks and feels too empty and plain to put it bluntly.
While it's got a bit of sleek charm, I'd say you should fill out more of the page instead of keeping it centered to the browser in order to keep it convinent with for the lowest common denominators. At 640x480 it looks alright...at 1280x1024, though, it's the internet equivalent of a plain white wall. Functional, sure, but that's about it. Certainly you can do something to spruce it up a bit...it'd help to draw more new people to the site.
The messageboards here are a good example. It's the same design and uses alot of the same graphics, yet it looks SO damn better cuz theres more on the screen...

Good work. I'm glad you get the full reviews now rather than just the summary. ;)

A few minor niggles. When I search for a game I get the full uncut review for the first 5 reviews but if I click on the 'view all' button it goes back to just showing showing the summary of each review. I'm sure you guys will have it fixed soon.

Actually it's designed to fit an 800 pixel screen, which is still the standard, and is done by sites like Yahoo. It's much easier to design for a site with a fixed width than one that uses a variable width. We stretch the site in the forums because we're using a new forums software that allows us to do it easily. However, there are several design elements in the Reviews section that make a fixed design easier for us to deal with.

The Audio site will be sooner than the PCphoto site. Probably within a week or two.
