I think we need one desperately! Where are we gonna shamelessly promote NWN (and KotOR when it comes out)?

use the "Strategy Games" board.

explicitly for: RPG, RTS, Adventure and Strategy game discussions.

:D

:DOh! Of course! That's so obvious I totally missed it! So will other visitors I'm sure!

Actually, let me explain myself further. If you want to "jump" from board to board using the drop-down lists, it's not apparent that there IS an RPG forum at all. To me, RPG's and Strategy games are extremely different... the only way to know there is an RPG forum is by entering through the Main Forum board.

Agreed. I would get rid of the "sports" forums (which could be subsumed under "action games") and replace with a dedicated RPG forum. After all, the RPG forum was probably the most popular genre-specific forum on the old boards.

Yup- for sure. Hey Moya, what the hell is your avatar? It looks like Mysterio with a cat squashed on his face!

LOL! It's actually Rorschach, a character from the Alan Moore/Dave Gibbons graphic novel "Watchmen". Which incidentally is also the source of my sig, although I'll probably change that before too long!

Any links to a larger pic of Rorshach though? You know what I meant about Mysterio though, right? It's the Spiderman villian who looked like he has a fish bowl on his head...

Nevermind, I found a pic... whats that on his face? A mask made of cloth?

Yes. It's actually made out of the material of a dress which responds to touch and heat (IIRC). In the story, the dress was bought by a woman (Kitty Genovese - look that one up in Google!) at the shop where Rorschach works. When she is raped and murdered in public (true story actually), he makes a mask of her dress to create a face that "he can stand to look at in the mirror" or something.

If you haven't read Watchmen you should really check it out. It's a truly wonderful book.

I could not figure out what the heck happened to the poor dudes face. I like the new board and think once we figure out all the new features it will be a happening place. The one thing hurting our pc forums is a lack of any really great new games at the moment. But soon we will have alot to look forward to. At least I still have Morrowind tribunal and Bloodmoon to complete and I am looking forward to Gothic 2 in Oct.

Ps.
Did anyone see our puppy movie," Miracle Dogs" on animal planet last Sat, Tues and this saturday as well I think? It was cute and I really enjoyed the hospital scene with our pups running around.

www.miracledogs.net is the correct url. You may see it later out that way and it is out on dvd and video off Amazon as well. I know...gushing like it was my family but our dogs are family in this animal kingdom.
