XP's A drive view options.

When originally purchased, I was able to view floppy jpegs as THUMBNAILS on XP as default.
Somewhere along the line XP has chossen to default floppy view to TILES.
A small thing, but annoying as I have to click View & select THUMBNAILS each time I access A drive for viewing jpeg floppies. Unfortunately, this setting doesnt hold.

Q: Is it possible to set A drive view to THUMBNAILS as default?

Tools>Folder Options> select VIEW tab. Under advanced settings>Files & Folders, check "Display Explorers Folders List".
