I just love the "group" of Xbox live gamers that Darwin and Daman belong to: the MUFFler Kings. Wow, how original and mature.

The entire arguement for why Xbox is better coming out of the Xbot crowd is that it is online. It has the only online fighter. Gee, a fighter with tons of lag 9/10 times you try to play it and your savior-MotoGP2 which has sold like complete ass on Xbox. Less than 8% of all Xbox owners are gaming online. So is it so great?

If I were going to argue the positive points of Xbox against another system, I would say it is the games you can't get anywhere else. Otogi being a new, prime example. This game pretty much takes all the good parts of Devil May Cry and Onimusha, knocks it up a notch and takes a dump on two said games' heads! Beautiful game with awesome gameplay and atmosphere. And it's the atmosphere that really draws me in.

But I digress...it just kills me what Xbots argue to try and say Xbox is better than another system. It's not the games, it's online. The one thing that most Xbox gamers seem to care the least about. Xbox is in dead last. Nothing is going to change this. Especially with Ed Fries trying to grow a pair at the most inopportune moment and saying that Microsoft will no longer be paying for exclusives and/or ports. So basically, the release list for upcoming Xbox games is even more bleak.

Hell, even the Little-N is stepping up to the plate with alot of decent games the second half of this year. Sony & Nintendo are smacking big, bad Billy Gates like their b!tch. Xbox can basically sink no lower in Japan and the system can barely run neck & neck with the Gamecube in the US and Europe.

And to think, Xbots think Xbox will rule by the end of the 128-bit wars!

So far on this issue its been alot of hot air from you with no substance to validate anything you had to say.If I'm full of it 78 then prove me wrong here.(Drum roll)

Belive what otherwise? That Xbox is in dead last? What link are you talking about? You are making less sense right now than usual.

Xbox IS dead-last in the console race. At this point in time with less than three years to go till the next generation of consoles is released, Sony would have to completely cease manufacturing and selling the PS2 for Xbox to even reach half of PS2's 53+ million userbase!

and even if that nigh-impossible scenario took place, Nintendo Gamecube sales would also boom as a result. Unfortunately, Nintendo is showing a better lineup of upcoming games than the Xbox to me. I just can't get excited about games like Operation Flashpoint, Rainbow Six 3 and Counterstrike that have been out on PC for ages and I have already played them to death! Xbox will be lucky if Crimson Skies, Kameo and Project Gotham 2 make it out this year! Don't look for Thief III or Deus Ex 2 anytime before 2K4 on Xbox. Especially not Half-Life 2.

And BTW, you should be in love with Gamecube right now. You are always talking about how great the Gameboy Advance is and now you get the GBA Player for free when you buy a Gamecube. So all of your favorite handheld games could be played on the big screen and the one FPS that is better than Halo-Metroid Prime. Not to mention all the other great Gamecube exclusive titles.

All Xbox has is some really good Sega games. And it looks like that honeymoon is over now with the only other Xbox game on the horizon from Sega being a multiplatform Sonic. Right now, I have a whopping ONE Xbox game to buy this year...if it even makes it out on time. That being Ninja Gaiden. Other than that, Xbox will remain dormant for the next several months once I beat Otogi.

Boy arent you laying it on thick. There is no damn way I would invest in the GC.Never.This console is on life support and you know it.But to each his/her own.You support the GC and I'll support the Xbox. And even though all you had to say you still had no link to prove otherwise.

For me there is plenty to buy for the PS2 and the Xbox.I mean other than F-Zero and SC II I dont see any other GC game worth mentioning.Plus after reading the latest reviews on P.N.03 I couldnt help but laugh.I mean the games best review score was a 5.3. And most of the Xbox's worst games scored higher than that. But lately the Xbox has had some killer titles. But in your eyes the GC is better? LOL! Dream on 78.

Your assumption that sales is indicative of quality is erroneous. Case in point: N'Sync. Second case in point: Celine Dion. Shall I continue?

The sales of MotoGP 2 are irrelevant. Ask anyone who plays it, and they will tell you that it is one of the best, if not the actual best quality racer available to gamers today. I've probably put in about 250 hours or more into Moto GP1 and 2 online.

And, to tell you the truth, it's kinda nice that Moto GP2 isn't selling through the roof. The gamers that are online with it tend to be more enjoyable to game with. Almost no idiots, little kids, and otherwise assclowns to ruin the game for everyone else. BUT, since you've never even played the first or second Moto GP online or offline you wouldn't understand.

And, for the record, MaskedGamer is not on my team. He is on a rival team. Glockstar and I are the MUFFler Kings. It originally was going to be MUFFler Divers, but Glock felt that was going too far. The Crotch Rockets, Team Roadkill, and Rossi's Prison Biatches were other suggestions by me that were shot down as well. So, if you're gonna call me immature, be sure to get ALL the facts straight because I am far more immature than you originally thought.

Us Xbots have been able to recruit some new gamers to our site and may be starting up a League soon. Wow, imagine that: VGR members doing something positive for the site other than posting in System Wars every day. I sense a bit of jealousy here. You see other gamers on this site making new friends and looking forward to playing their games online, and you feel left out. I understand, GF78. You wanna be a MUFFler King too, don't ya?

The gaming evolution is here and is on Live. Online play is the most fun I've had with my consoles. Many of us have already joined up. Stop drinking your Haterade (credit goes to Reloaded for that) and join us already. Why cut off your nose to spite your face?

I am impressed Sladesan.

Not on the same topic, but there was another episode when Homer started up a Neigborhood watch program. It really turned into a vigilante mob.

Homer: So I said to the guy, "Hey, look, buddy. Your car was like that when I got here. And as far as your Grandma is concerned ... well, she shouldn't have mouthed off like that."

Oh yeah I remember that. This episode had some of my favorite Simpson moments.

Kent Brockman: What do you have to say about allegations that vandalism is down 50% while heavy sack beatings are up 90%.

Homer: Kent, statistics can be used to make up anything, 60% of all people know that.

Not the exact quote, but you get the idea.

Or when Homer catches Jimbo Jones writing graffiti on a public wall.

Homer: You got a reason to be doing that?
Jimbo: Yeah, it makes me feel like a big man.
Homer: Wait, let me check my lists of reasons ... yep, it's there.
Jimbo: Hey, wait a minute. You're that druken posey that everyone's talking about. Can I join up?

Abe Simpson: I'm full of Piss and Vinegar. At first, I was just full of vinegar.

Homer: Dad, I'd love to let you in but old people are useless

Yes they are.... yes they are

Abe: Stop that, it's a form of abuse.

WOW. Werent you the one that started the STOOpid people thread?

First things first, MotoGP is one of the best online experiences I have ever had, not to mention the single player game kicks a$$ also. I am looking forward to purchasing MotoGp2 as well as PGR2, but alas finances dictate otherwise. As for bashing LIVE, the only reason 8% of the Xbots are online is:

A. they dont have broadband
B. they mommy wont buy it for them
C. they dont know any better, for if they did they would be online

Once you have had the experience to play head to head against human opponents, up to 15 other players in games like MGP and RTCW, complete with voice capability, playing with yourself is indeed not nearly as fulfilling an experience, kind of like sex. Dont get me wrong, a game like Otogi or Fatal Frame works wonderfully as a single-player game, but racing, sports, FPS and even RPG's were meant to be played in multiplayer and LIVE comes through with flying colors. Yes, I know there isnt an RPG on LIVE yet, so dont even go there, but True Fantasy is on its way.

Lastly, I have been in 3 different gamestop/funcolands in the past week or so and have asked how sales for the Big 3 are going. Needless to say, PS2 is still kicking the other two's butts, why? I dont know, but all 3 stores have told me that the Xbox is outselling the GC in their stores. So either I live around some very savy gamers, stupid in your world, or you just have the wrong info regarding which system is selling better.

Oh and what the hell is Little N stepping up to the plate with? P.N.03? Mario Kart 128? Maybe Disney skateboarding? Oh thats right, the MGS port of a 5 year old game. Whatever, GC'ers are still on their 3rd go round with Metroid Prime waiting for the next big thing. I have 8 GC games and if EA didnt drop the price on their titles, I'd only have 6. I have 5x as many PS2 and Xbox games and wonder why I even keep the Cube. If I didnt collect as well as play, it'd probably be gone by now.

Who cares about sales? Let's see...Microsoft cares about sales. Developers care about sales. Retail stores care about sales. Gamers who actually want said developers to continue making games should care about sales.

Do you not undertand yet? Is it so hard a concept to grasp? If a game sells poorly, the people making those games will no longer make them. Whether or not developers enjoy programming games, they do it for one thing: MONEY. If they aren't making money, they quit making games.

So go on not caring about sales. I'm sure that's just what all the Dreamcast exclusive fanboys were saying after PS2 came out to phenomenal sales. And wow-just 3 months later Sega let the world know they were leaving the hardware business. Yeah-who cares about sales?

Take the Japanese out of the equation, how nice it would be if you could do that wouldn't it? But you can't-this is a worldwide market. A market that has shown Gamecube to be a more popular & better selling system than the Xbox.

And I'm sure that Americans have just grown "so tired" of Japanese games. That's why Metal Gear Solid 2 sold over 3 million copies in America. That's why Devil May Cry and Resident Evil Remake each sold over a million copies. Or what about Kingdom Hearts selling over a million copies in America? Let's not forget Metroid Prime which sold over a million as well. I could go on and on about what games have sold millions of copies, but it is kind of redundant.

The only thing you need to know is that a whopping four Xbox games have sold over a million. Halo, Project Gotham Racing, Splinter Cell and Dead Or Alive 3. With DOA3 being Japanese at that-damn crap Jap games! Splinter Cell ows much of it's sales ot PS2, Gamecube and PC sales as well! So I guess, Xbox has two good, old American games that sold over a million. Wooo.....how great.

Pathetic. Keep throwing out the names of 3 PC titles that are coming to Xbox next year to make Xbox sound like the best system. Tell me-why should I buy these games on Xbox when:
A) I can get them sooner on my PC
B) My PC can play these games just fine
C) Mouse & Keyboard is truly the way to go with FPS

You see, me and about 92% of Xbox owners along with me could care less about online gaming. What's your point?

And really Moody, you should just shut your cake-hole when you don't know what you are talking about. You don't know what games are coming out on Gamecube at all. A. you may be right about that
B. My PC cannot keep up with these games, as I'm sure many others wont
C I used to think that also until I used the Xbox Duke controller, even the S works fairly well, but the Duke fits my hands better

Just because you can afford a state of the art PC to play these upcoming games doesnt mean the other 92% of gamers can. Let me see spend $179 on an Xbox and play said games or fork out $1000+ to upgrade my PC, tough question. Oh did I forget, play said game on 17" monitor or big screen TV, another tough question.

So my question to you is "If I can play these games on a big screen at a cheaper price and still get online like my PC, which by the way I may have to do some tweaking to to get the game to run at its full potential, why buy them for the PC?" Other than MODS, which LIVE may supply in a limited capacity, as they have done for RTCW.

It is not a hypocritical statement. How can one know if they think a game is good if they've never played it? I've played many bad games. Go ahead, ask me what I think of DOA Volleyball, Waverace, or Smashing Drive? I'll tell you they suck. Just because I bought them does not mean I ended up liking them.

My point is that I've never met a person whose played/rented/bought Moto GP 1 or 2 for Xbox who said the game sucks. The game impresses everyone who plays it. Even Tappy Tibbons, a man who rarely plays racing games, was still impressed with the Moto GP online demo.

You pointed out these two examples because they were accepted by the mainstream, right? If you ask anyone who listens to Celine's songs or buys her cds, she/he will tell you that Celine's good. So, were you implying that people who plays/rents/buys Moto GP games have more valuable opinions than the people who buys/listens to Celine's songs? If you weren't, then, tell me this; Logically, you would find most of the people who buy Celine's CD are satisfied with her work. Whoever buys her CDs and hates them has to be in the minority. Now, if that's the case, wouldn't you say Celine is a good singer according to its fans which, by the way, the mainstream? If you don't agree, how is it your MotoGP explanation has any importance?

And tell The Game to bring it on. He is the one who likes the WWE. I don't see how he can say anthing. Celine Dion is a good singer. I have been a fan of hers for a long time. Just you know, I am a sensitive guy. :) The only music I don't like are probably the Rap and Metal hard rock or whatever it is called....
