I just got a gamecube since the price was so low. I've had an xbox and a ps2 for a while. What games should i get for gamecube? What are the essentials and what's hot that will be coming out soon?

What are your favorite games on your xbox and Ps2? That should help us give you some more focused recommendations. Were there any Nintendo franchises that you've played on the SNES or N64 and really liked?

I don't care who you are, or what kind of games you like...
I say Metroid Prime and Viewtiful Joe are essentials if you're a 'Cube owner.

After that... maybe, maybe, Zelda: Wind Waker.
If, for some strange reason, you've never played a Zelda game before, then it is definitely a must have. (It's just about a flawless game - as far it's development is concerned - but... it's not very... how shall we say.... original.)

The only GC games I see on the immediate horizon are Pikmin 2 and Metroid Prime 2.
The 'Cube is definetely my third choice among the current consoles as well.

You really need to get crackin' on MP. So that way you'll understand what the hubbub about MP2 is about.
I still don't think it's going to make it out this calender year tho'.

There are lots of great Gamecube games, but just like Gadfly was saying you should tell us a little more about what kind of games you like.
