Hey, have anyone reading this went back to the old school games?? I got back into the Original Nintendo about 5 years ago. It has to be the best game system ever. I got back into the Sega Genesis about a 1yr ago. It's still a great system. I never got into the Super Nintendo. Old School games are making a come back. I brought my Nes back to school with me and it seems everyone who has come into my dorm room gets soo excited when they see the Original Nintendo System and my games. When I brought my NES up to school last year a guy down the hall ended up buying a Top Loader from me and he is still buying old nintendo games. Actually, he bought 6 games yesterday. Oh, incase some of you all don't know there are 2 different versions of the Original Nintendo. In 1993 a Top Loader version was released because the front loaders got soo old they wouldn't read the games any more. But, now you can get a replacement connector off Ebay and it works great in the front loader. All you have to do is replace the connector with the old one. Now, your front loader will work like new. The connector reads on both sides of the games unlike the connector that originally came with the Nes. It only read one side which explains why the games couldn't be read very well.

used SNES games are as expensive (or more so) than used PS and PS2 games.

I'm only sorta getting into old games. . . I'm picking up some re-issues for the GBA to play on the GBA player. Will probably get all the original Mario games; I never played 1 & 2, or Yoshi's Island. Recently picked up Konami's Contra: The Alien Wars for a trip down memory lane. And had a blast playing the original Duck Hunt w/light gun over at a relatives house last month on their NES (it was in the closet, but I took it out and it still worked.) That was still fun after all these years.

What I'd like to pick up is an old Atari or Odyssey; I haven't played those games in nearly 20 years.

I just picked up GOLD copys of the first Zelda and the adventure of Link.

I love old school games, I own hundreds of em', my game collection actually kind of scares people. Especially when they see the Virtual boy.

The really great thing is that games for Saturn and older systems go for NOTHING, maybe not at game stores that carry a lot of retro titles, but Cash converters sometimes have things beyond my comprehension that someone would sell for two bucks.
