Ultimate Saga any good?

Hey, i've been reading many bad reviews regarding Ultimate Saga.
I lived in Japan during my youth and during that time Square and Enix were like equal quality games (or at least the people perceived it that way). Dragon Quest (Dragon Warrior here, you know, Toriyama Akiya from Dragon Ball Z does all the art work for), was huge alongside the Final Fantasy Series, but it's no where to be found here (except for GB games)!!! So, i was surprised to see a game by Enix come out, but it seems that they may have dropped the ball! I would love to get my hands on a Enix game that i can play on my PS2, anyone have any suggestions???

Oh, and by the way, the pokemon idea was started by Enix in Dragon Quest 5!!!! So now, go prey to Enix for forgiveness.

Well the Saga series of RPG was never well received here in the states. There is a small core of fans that really like this new game though, but I've yet to try it myself.

If you want an Enix game, I dunno. They all seem hard to find but I would suggest Robot Alchemic Drive, or Grandia Extreme again, if you can find them. Grandia 2 should be easy to find though, if you haven't played it.
