Spent a lot of cash at ebx last weekend and brought some great games and not so great games =/ I was saving for a playstation 2 and a few games but I guess that plan died, damn my gaming obsessions.

The 2 games that just refuse to work are Turok: Evolution and Terminator 3: War of the machines, i've wanted both for a little while but I guess are incompatible with my ATI 9000pro whats worse ebx wouldn't take them back as returns so I had to trade them in and got a lousy exchange just enough to get a sims game for my wife.

I have a question for you U.S guys, whats the deal with U.S used prices? I saw plenty of pretty old games that were still actually quite expensive, BF1942 was still $25 even though its old now, when I was in England it was just £10 second hand, and some of the older PSX games were very expensive!! Legend of Mana was $40 used!!

Got these

The Temple of Elemental Evil ( So far, i'm kinder enjoying this game but has some annoying quirks) $30

Halo: Combat Evolved (I'm enjoying it so far, can't seem to connect to play it online tho?) $25

Sacred (Single player is awesome, online mode has insanely bad bugs) $35

The Sims: Superstars (wifey gets this one) $15

The Sims: Makin Magic (my wife gets this one also) $15

Battlefield 1942 (finally got it back since my original cds died gotta get the expansions now >.<) $25

Homeworld 2 (I enjoyed the original, not tried this one yet hopefully its pretty good) $25

Deus Ex 2 (Hopefully its as good as the original, not tried it yet) $30

Return to castle wolfenstein (Cheap hehehe) $8

Need for Speed: Underground (So far, not bad but I think the game cheats halfway through the game) $35

Conflict Desert Storm 2 (Not tried this yet, never played the first one either lol any good?) $20

Midnight Club 2 (Seems good, only tried it for 5 minutes) $25

Crono-Cross (psx can't wait to play this!! I'm saving it for a rainy day :D) $35

Legend of mana (psx another that I never saw in England, I'm playing this at the moment and loving it!!!) $40

Sukodian 2 sp? (psx I completed the original one a long time ago) $20

Dead or Alive (psx I enjoyed the arcade version) $10

Turok: Evolution (stupid graphics problems, menu works but game is blank screen)

Terminator 3 (Similar problem to turok, menus work, but game crashs with access violation error, downloaded latest patch, didn't fix the problem)

Prices at EB seem to go by rarity and popularity of the title. If the game is still selling well, as BF42 is, then it'll still be a little expensive.

Oh, and if you can find the original Suikoden for cheap grab it..the game goes for hundreds of dollars on Ebay last I heard. It really pisses me off cuz I've had 2 ultra rare games that I ended up trading for like 1/100th of the price they're going for now. Suikoden, and the indescribably awesome Dragon Force.

Try rolling back your drivers for those two game. Catalyst 3.9 or there-abouts may work wonders.

Here I am glad I kept Gundam Side Story for Dreamcast. Everyone wants that!
