HL2 shipping at the end of the month?

Hey, i was just reading my new PC Gamer magazine and it says that HL2 will ship on 9-28-03... HMM, Ebgames says it ships in November, so what's the deal? Does anyone know when it really ships? Thanks guys, i just need to know if i should buy groceries this month or not... :confused:

You're in luck! It's been pushed back to Q3 2004 so you can eat this month!

But if for some reason it does come out this month you can have your cake and eat it too. Just turn tricks on main street and not only will you get to play some Half Life goodness but you'll be able to down a pabst blue ribbon and a bag of doritoes at the same time. All it'll cost you is your dignity.

LOL Hell, thank the lord for my wife, if it wasn't for her, I'd be on a liquid diet (but with games to play once per week)!

Gamespot is saying that HL2 will be released later this year. Could it be that Renzantic meant Q4 2003? Who knows. I'll just be glad when it finally comes out without any "bugs". If you know what I mean.

If Valve doesn't even have any set dates scheduled, then i'm afraid that they're going to postpone the game past the christmas season... (you guys remember Team Fortress 2?)

Well, it plays MUCH better than it even looks. I'm excited about this one, and it's a game I will stop at nothing to get... Even selling off all my GCN games is a distinct possiblity if I don't have cash on me on release day... The demo is sweet.
