So I renamed the Hardware forum to System Issues, so that it can cover software as well as hardware.

Crap, my avatar is not showing?!! Arg, why not?! Everything else seems to be working fine, the pic is only 60x60 and 2.5 Kb's... I can't seem to grab the pic from my page, or upload it, for some reason... there is definitely something wrong... both ET and I have sign-up dates before even I was born!! Maybe the lack of avatars has something to do with this as well.

The sign up dates have been noted SBS. The avatar probem should be solved. Try saving the pic to your desktop and uploading it from there if you still cant grab the pic from your page.

Is it possible to disable pics in signatures for all members? Because quite frankly they suck. *grumble, grumble* (I'll be the Victor Meldrew of the new forums.)

I agree about huge sigs with lots of pics. It's a waste of space and time.
A request from me to everyone, is that you keep your sigs size to a minimum.

Since the pic is part of the sig, I don't think there is a way to view only the written signature.

Wow, totally lost track of this post. For anyone interested, disabling attachments in your options will eliminate any huge pics to show in signatures. Unfortunately it will also eliminate any other pics in posts such as screen shots. You'll see a url in it's place.

How could you possibly loose track of the first post on this board?? :eek: lol.

Funny reading through it now, how we responded w/questions/answers of our new environment.
The "bloom" is not yet off the rose Lara, I enjoy the boards, all of them.
After visiting some of the console boards early on, I was inspired to buy another gaming platform :o ..but thats another story.
