PC Gamer has a new demo for the game on their new demo disc this month. I first read about the original demo on here and have played the heck out of it. It seems there were at least two or three regulars here who were as excited about it as I am. I have already preordered the game, something I very rarely do...
The new demo is OK. Interesting to fight some new enemies and with the chaingun/rocket launcher no less... I don't particularly care for the level design although it is a beautiful engine.

I tried to check it out but it is way too much of a system hog for my rig. I did check out the Mobster game though and it looked pretty interesting to me though. Not sure how the full game rates so I will wait and see.

I just bought a new computer and I could barely run the game on my old 933...
It looks pretty good now... By Mobster game, do you mean Gangland? How is that?

Good graphics. Great physics and particle system. Cool atmosphere. Repetitive gameplay (duh). So-so weapons. The demo's first level is way, way better than the second. It looks like it could be a fun old-school game that's a little slower, more atmospheric than Serious Sam. But I wouldn't pay top dollar for it.
