Although i do not have the mag or most of the reviews yet, I know that SC: PT MUTLIPLAYER has gotten 10, 10, 9.5 GOLD/GOTM from EGM as opposed to NGs still excellent 3 9.5s GOLD.
And here's the reviews for PT...
Shoe: Multiplayer Review
Even more wow is the multiplayer game. Folks, this is the reason to get on Xbox Live. I don't care about the money for the subscription, for broadband, and for the cable dude to come out to your pad-you gotta play four-playerPandora. Here, two spies (who play in traditional Splinter Cell third-person style) try to complete certain stealthy operations while two mercenaries (who are in first-person view) try to stop them. The two sides play completely different from each other, ballanced with a variety of complementary weapons and gadgets. This innovative hunter/huntedd gameplay is intense. Once you try a bit of this hot spy-on-mercenary action, you'll never want to go back to boring ol' deathmatching again. On top of that, the multiplayer maps are some of the most cleverly designed in any video game ever, offering spies multiple ways to hide and many paths from point A to B that their enemies can't access, while giving the mercs lots of tools-cameras, motion detectors, etc. to catch them. Incredible stuff.
Get Pandora Tomorrow, After all, it will be the game all your Xbox Live'n friends will be talking about and playing until Halo 2 comes out. You don't want to be left behind in the dark, do you? 10/10
Mark: Multiplayer Review
Just as Tetris stuck in my noggin at the height of its popularity, Pandora's incredible online multiplayer mode has invaded my reality. I spot security cameras I never noticed before on my way to work. I instinctively note the placement of windows and air vents each time I enter a room. While everyone else is watching the movie, I'm spotting the best places to mine the theater.
Sure, I'm obsessed. But who can blame me? Pandora nails every inportant aspect of multiplayer-intricate level design, cool gadgets and weapons, and most of all, a fantastic balance between two very different types of gameplay. Games this innovative and polished at the same time are rare indeed. Setting traps, causing diversions, spying in on the other team's conversations, letting them spy in on yours to feed them false information - the possibilities for co-operaction and strategy in multiplayer Pandora are so endless, it makes even a deep shhoter like Rainbow Six 3 seem like a simple Doom clone. All of this greatness does come with a price: a supersteep learning curve. You'll need to spend hours learning every nook of the huge levels and mastering the complicated controls before you can enjoy multiplayer. but once you do, there is literally nothing like it. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to get back online. 9.5/10
Crispin: Multiplayer Review
And if the single player game still feels a little too similar to the original's, Pandora Tomorrow goes beyond the call of duty with the most novel multiplayer mode I've ever played.
The revolutionalry spooks-vs-guards online game packs an Everest-steep learning curve likely to intimidate the casual spies. In fact, i can guarantee that you won't have fun the first time you dive in. You'll stumble around in the dark, wrestle with controls (which are different from those in single-player), and wonder if you'll ever get the hang of this. But stick with it: Once you master tactics and memorize a level's layout, you won't be able to log off-until you try a new level and have to figure out its intricacies from scratch. 9.5/10
I dunno if they did SP or not...

SC:PT has once again raised the bar in the stealth/action/adventure/genre.After reading whats all going to be in Pandora Tomorrow you cant help but thing:Twin Snakes who? LOL!
Its not like NG had crappy review scores. So I dont feel bad about SC:PT getting GOTM over Ninja Gaiden at all. Both games are currently on the Xbox so why be mad? Hell thats a nice one-two punch for Xbox owners in one month.Remember the Xbox's version along with the PC's version will be out first. The PS2/GC's version of SC comes out a little later. So I say again whats there to be upset about? Nothing from where I'm standing.
Its called I going to make sure I pick up SC:PT realllllll soon.

Lewks like am'a gon' get me some steath action.
Another one to watch is Starcraft:Ghost which is packed full of sci fi stealth n' stuff, probably mixed up with some Live play and in doing so put the weaker versions to shame.
How come no one in these forums quotes review scores from Edge?
So much better than EGM-yawn :o. At least skim through the pages to see what you think.

So Edge is really a good mag? Would you call them "fair and balanced"?

So Edge is really a good mag? Would you call them "fair and balanced"?
I kid you not Tappy this will be the best £4.00 (dunno what the exchange rate is to the Dollar) you will have EVER spent your money on and yes their objective analysis of games when concerning reviews is of a very high standard (scores rated out of 10, no decimals, 4.5, 6.8) , as is their standard of writing. Its their sole job for the consumer to get bang for their buck when concerning games.
Its not all that rubbish like the format exclusive tat e.g. OXM or the Official Nintendo magazine-ONLY ON!, BESTESTEST EVER GAME! Just look at this on the About Edge section on there website www.edge-online.com. Beware it never updates, not a bad thing, they save the best bits for the mag.
The world's leading interactive entertainment magazine, Edge is at the cutting edge of video-gaming technology. With its clean, sophisticated design and informative, erudite writing style,

I really like the fact that XBOX LIVE is beginning to have soo much variety. I hate the twitch, no thinking, run and gun out in the open, first person shooters like Unreal. But I respect the fact, that other people do enjoy them probably more enjoy them, than a thinking mans shooter. So now i'm happy we got Rainbow6 and now it is nice to hear that SC will be a thinking competitive shooter. I really couldn't grasp what kind of game they were going for from reading the previews. When I heard mercs, I thought they were trying to dumb down Splinter Cell, and I was worried about the online play. Now, by all means, I was going to get the game for the single player, kind of like Wolfenstein(for me), but I wasn't holding too much hope for LIVE play. But, I am getting pumped the more I hear.
As far as innovation, look to XBOX man. The PS2 hardware is going to prevent any game on the PS2 from introducing any real innovation. You see the scores for Rainbow6 on PS2, and I was reading reviews for the new PS2 ghost recon game, sad.
I said it before, and I'll say it again. This will be the best year of gaming for any console, EVAAAAAAR. This year, XBOX will have more AAA games in one year, than any console ever has. Plus, the fact that most of them will be online, is just insane. Triples the fun.
First we get a japanese action game, okay, not my genre, but i'm diggin it. Then we get an american action game(Splinter Cell 2), sweet i'm feelin this. Next in April, we will get a true LIVE car based racing simulator, okay, i'm really feelin this i'm on fire. Then in June, you get Indycar online. I can finally, finally toss games like Sega GT and Project Gotham in the trash, NO MORE ARCADE RACING. THE XBOX WILL FINALLY HAVE PC LIKE CAR SIMS ON LIVE(as DAMAN sheds a tear). "Can a brother get a minute...its just so beautiful!"

While I will be enjoying Splinter Cell by the end of the week (and not Wed, thanks to Blockbuster's sorry a** es), Starcraft: Ghost is definitely the stealth game I'm anticipating this year, even if it doesn't have Live play. I'm looking forward to this more than Snake Eater.

Shoe actually states in his review of RS3 for PS2 that if you want to play RS3 you should buy a Xbox with the Xbox version and stick to SOCOM on PS2.

I guess SOCOM and RS3 are the two real deals then for the PS2 and the Xbox.
