Microsoft has stolen a march on Sony and Nintendo by supplying Xbox2 development kits to companies across America and Europe, with codeshops in Japan expected to take delivery shortly.
The setup com prises dual Power Macintosh G5s running a custom configured Windows NT operating system. The graphics-processing solution is currently ATI's Radeon 9800 (R350) set, which will soon be superseded by a custom iteration of the company's technology.
