Hey,
My Call of Duty CD Key is not working :( I think someone may be using it illegally, so I want to know if someone can either give me a CoD CD Key or if I can trade them a Battlefield 1942 CD Key for a CoD CD Key...
Thanks,
Liam

If you're legit, you'd have already contacted EA...

Not to sound rude, but you shouldn't need your cd-key to play it single-player since it requires your geniune cd-key first, no net connection is required for this and the only other thing is if you brought it second-hand and the cd key doesn't match the cd....in the later, EA wouldn't help you, but you could only take the game back to the place of purchase and ask for another providing you had a valid reciept.
However, if you tried to play it online then it would require a non-registered cd-key and chances are highly unlikely you wouldn't have this problem anyway...

I have the CD Key, but it isn't working when I try to Verify the Key again for online play, so I was just going to try and trade someone for a BF1942 CD Key b/c I don't use it anymore...

I'm sorry that just sounds odd. Even if someone else was using it, the key should work. My friend let me borrow CoD and I used his stuff and everything works even though the key was already on his computer. The key should work unless the other person is playing on the server you want to play on (my experiences with HL i dunno if its the same for CoD).
Also by giving your BF cd key your basicly pirating to someone else who DL'd the single player for free and just need a cd key for online play...
