http://nextbox.ccfx.net/ According to this site which seems to be the ultimate XBOT site. The new software development kit has been released to developers. There is some other interesting news about the buttons for the new controller not including the black and white buttons(but who really cares) Oh god I can here it now WHY GOD WHYdid you take away our black and white buttons. The most important news has to deal with the Flash Memory cards that are in development.M-systems has a deal to make future Flash memory cards for the Nextbox.Hopefully these are just add on hardware for the XB2 if not there goes the Harddrive and Backwards compatibility and all our other favorite things. They actually gathered a team together to tell them that some people don't like the B and W buttons. But no Genius so far has figured out that the HDD is what they really need to focus on.I know that not having the B and W buttons is definetily going to keep me from buying a Xbox2 AARRGHHHHH!!!! :mad:Hell it looks like MS is trying to save even more money by putting less buttons on the new controller These must be some really smart people LOL!!

Seriously, the xbox2 dev kits are mac G5 powered, come with an Apple logo and everything. This is just funny. I wish Massi the Mac Fan were still around to comment on this. And this really looks like MS intends to be the first out with a next gen system. Will this be Dreamcast for them, or will it help them capture huge market share?

But first, check out the article about the xbox2 Mac development kits:

Good googly-woo, did I read this right, 6 G5 cores? Holey smokes. I think it is very interesting that developers are able to start so early fleshing out games for the Next XBOX, as we know time is sometimes more important than power when it comes to making a great game.
