More Midway Arcade Treasures unearthed

Second classic compilation will include the original Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat II, Narc, Total Carnage, and more.

The retro-game craze continued today at the 2004 Midway Gamer's Day in Las Vegas. During one of the presentations, representatives of the publisher revealed there will be a sequel to its popular Midway Arcade Treasures.

The second classic compilation will feature more recent games than the first, including the original Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat II, NARC, and Total Carnage.

No other details were given on Midway Arcade Treasures 2, but GameSpot will have them as soon as they become available.

Well fellow gamers this will be my last post for awhile.I hope you guys enjoy it.Midway Arcade Treasures 2 will be out for the PS2,the Xbox,and the GC.Cant wait.

Dude, this is AWESOME news!!!!!

Man, this game has just shot up to my top 5 most wanted list! And to THINK! It's only gonna be 20$!!!!!! YA!!!!

It's probably not going to be out for the GC. Midway's cancelled development of all GC titles.

Unless you own a PS2 or an Xbox thats the only way you'll get to enjoy the 2nd Midway Arcade Treasures with MK I & II.Ahhh finally an arcade perfect port of MK II.I just hope Shang Tsung's morphs arent as big a hassle as they were back on other consoles.If Midway can pull that off let the clinics begin.
