How someone could duplicate &/or get characters without a gameshark?

I am talking about Pokémon. On e-bay someone is selling characters if you send them your gba cartridge. THey promise that the charcaters are not gamesharked. I really don't get it!

I am new to this forum. I am a 31 year old mother of 2. I figure if after 31 years of the drama that I have been involved in I am not hooked on drugs, or alcohol. I am doing really GOOD!!! My only vice is my GBA SP & all of my Pokémon games. Plus I really get to bond with my 5 year old son over his ruby & my sapphire.

lol, I know I say this way too much..but...hit up www.gamefaqs.com (http://www.gamefaqs.com) and do a quick search for Pokemon. They have a cheats section there that'll tell you how to duplicate characters if you can.

But before you do...remember...cheating makes the game not fun!

Thank you! Out of 23 people that read my post. You were the only one kind enough to help me out! I am just totally curious! It fascinates me that people can do this then turn around & sell the characters on e-bay!

lol, you can find just about anything on Ebay it seems. From Pokemon characters to dirty underwear all the way up to nuclear bombs (just wait..it'll happen).
