I don't really think any of the consoles can brag about having a stellar month. This is obvious because the GOTM is a silver award. Online game #2 for the Gamecube gets the Game of the Month award. 007 Everything or Nothing is getting some solid reviews across the board.

You're right, this month was pretty sparse on quality titles for anything. They weren't to fond of Lifeline I see. Other then that, all you really have is MGS: TS unless you're a racing fan or can get you're head around the camera and controls of 007. Or you're one of those seven people who bought a GC network adapter...
Guess it gives us time to play all those December games we never got around to.

Seven?!? There's that many?!?
Seriously though, those "seven" subscribers must be like, politicians wives... or, or Nintendo bigwigs... or Sega employees, or something... because they sure do seem to have a lot of pull! I mean, how is that a handful of online gamers can get what they want, but 500,000+ can not?!? (Which is... RoadRash Online, of course! :p )

Are you psychic, Glockstar?! I was thinking about an updated Road Rash today. It would be nice if they resurrect this franchise. I bet the NFS: Underground devs could make it a quality title once again (My fav RR was part 2).
I hope EGM made an error by putting Mafia in the multiplatform reviews, since the Xbox version isn't out just yet. More than likely, the one month delay will make the scores a lot higher than the PS2 version received.

It's not just that another Gamecube online game is out for the Gamecube, but rather an exclusive one. The GOTM award is promising.
Of course I won't jump onboard the "Nintendo Online" boat until I see some first party online Nintendo games. If I ever partake in online console gaming that is.
BTW, I think a significant amount of GCN owners actually are online. Obviously not as many as the PS2 or Xbox, but the PS2 and Xbox don't have very large online communities either.

I think GC needs to get some of the other platform's games online. At least that way they could tap into the market. Releasing a turn-based, card and dice game as one of you're only two online games is not going to bring in users. At least they could have given some of their first party titles online abilities like DD or FZero. Then people might buy adapters. But Nintendo doesn't think online gaming is important (but having a GBA with two screens is, go figure)

Good luck trying to find a 56K or Broadband adapter for the Gamecube. If you do happen to find one somewhere, buy it - simply because you might never see it again.
At least with the Warp Pipe project you could at least get some use out of it.

RBH, Road Rash 2 was EASILY the best in the series...remember how you could knock out the cops and make the game glitch where the cop would just lay there dead in the road?
If a new ONLINE ENABLED(with more than 1 vs 1 racing) RR came out only on PS2, I might just have to buy it.

Actually I usually see a broadband adapter or 2 at the Best Buy and Circuit City by me. I've heard that they're supposed to be hard to find though. Go figure.

Well it seems we all want more Road Rash!!! I think Road Rash 2 was the best of them all as well. Especially the Hawaii jump, I remember we would play that in two player and see who could jump high enough to make it off the screen. Good times...

No way brah... the FIRST Road Rash was the best.
The second one had too many oil and cow **** puddles.
They really... irked me. The first one was a lot less frustrating; and even though a bit slower, it was more conducive to speed. The second one looked better though. :D

Everybody thought a couple of years ago that MGS2 on the PS2 had the EGM GOTM in the bag until an unknown game came along and upseated it.A game we all have come to know as"Halo." Now once again another game has come out of nowhere and smacked MGS:TS out of the box.(PSO ONLINE EP 3:CARD BATTLE)
Other than that everything else seemed okay.Too bad this was supposed to have been the issue that Ninja Gaiden originally was supposed to have been reviewed.Well I'm definately looking forward to May's edition of EGM thats for sure.

I remember that, eventhough I rarely had a chance to do that against the cops. Whatever happened to the series? Last title I remember was RR: Jail Break, but I never played it.
