Can you give us a little more info about your gaming preferences? It sounds like you're into action games...

First off, you need to extract your tongue from the lightsocket, but aside from that...

Star Wars - Rogue Squadron 2: Rogue Leader - it's priced at $20 these days and if you own a Gamecube and don't own this game just hang your head in shame.

Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker - A "must" own.

and of course...

Mario Kart: Double Dash!! - another one that if you don't own and do own a Gamecube, you shouldn't consider yourself a gamer.

Custom Robo 2

That Custom Robo game actually looks pretty good, slade. It's on my watch list now. No thanks to you. I see that the game is due out in May. If I wind up getting it, it would be my first new GC game in 7 months!

I must say, however, that I've only got one eye on this game. Because it's sounds like it's more of a "party" game (in the same vein as Godzilla: DAMM) than an enriching single-player experience. It'll all depend on how the the sp mode turns out.

I kow you had previously posted some screenshots of the game, but... here's another... though it's an "FMV (that's "full-motion video" to you)...

Some excerpts from the Feb. 17 IGN preview:
Custom Robo, a sequel to the Nintendo 64 title of the same name, enables players to jump into fully customizable mech-robots and then battle against one another on a variety of quasi-destructible arenas called Holosseums.

The title of course features a single-player option, but it is best enjoyed with up to four-players (on the same screen).

The game runs at an undisturbed 60 frames per second and supports a progressive scan mode.

I like the "undisturbed" part, but... I don't know about the 60-frames bit.

Too bad the N64 version never came to the states, eh?
Aaah, the N64... I sure partied it up on that one. Still do! :D

Skies of Arcadia Legends is a great game and worth the buy. You may be able to get it off of ebay cheap but on ebgames and all the others its still 50$.

Yea, Skies of Arcadia: Ledgens is a sweet game. But you have to enjoy RPG's. The game is completely turn based and looking through menu's. Also expect to log in 60+ hours to play through the entire game. Skies of Arcadia is by far and away the Gamecube's best RPG. I'm not convinced of this Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles...

I think we need to go all the way back to the launch titles here. Super Smash Brother's Melee is the best selling game on the system, and well worth $50.

But save some money. Luigi's Mansion is a short game, but really fun, and funny, and cheap. . . you can find it used easy for $19.

Monkey Ball is cheap, and so is monkey Ball II and both have huge replay value. They may "look" like kids games, but they have addictive challening single player, and they are super fun party games.

Pikmin is a must play, IMO. At least rent it and see if you like it. It's very different. Also, Animal Crossing is a game that suprises people (buy it new so you get the memory card with it that comes with the free game.) Read some of the reviews on Animal Crossing. Extremely original.

It looks like you've mostly bought adult oriented games so far. If you like Eternal Darkness, Resident Evil O and Resident Evil remake are both priced reasonably well now.

I think you are mistaken about GC having not much of a selection. I own more games on it than any other system. I LOVE Mario Golf, and also if you like sports games, Tiger Woods 2003 is like $14 now (I know 2004 is out, but whatever.) Viewtiful Joe is a must play. I really don't know what you like, but F-Zero is the best futuristic racer I've ever played, and the Star Wars games are great (Rogue Squadron II). And one of the best shooters of this generation, Ikaruga, if you've got serious arcade shooter skills.

Ikaruga is definately one of the best shooters around. It's a totally old school, hard core shooter game though. It definately ranks at the top of my favorite GCN games list!
