Fresh from the pages of XBN #12, their very own list of games that will make "Xbox rulz" in 2004. Note, they are not numbered in the magazine, so I will just run them off in the order they appear in the article.
1) Splinter Cell Pandora Tommorow: Isn't this on EVERY system? Next.
2) Breakdown: This game looks like ass. Kinda like House of the Dead without a lightgun and lamer bad-guys.
3) True Fantasy Live Online: After all the bashing you guys do on PS2 Jap-RPG's and especially on the Dark Cloud series, it both baffles and amuses me to no end that you guys are hyped for this one. LMAO!
4) Phantom Dust: A gay dude in garter belts. Next.
5) Matrix Online: Didn't the first Matrix game suck bad enough?
6) Driv3r: Multiplatform. Next.
7) Rallisport Challenge. Actually, this one will be quite good. One point for Xbox.
8) X-Men Legends: LOL! Multiplatform and really, really stretching for games for the list.
9) Jade Empire: If this one crashes as bad as KOTOR, count me out. In fact, without the Star Wars license, count just about everyone out. Well, I'll give MS another point for this one. That makes two.
10) Sudeki: Can't get a Jap-RPG, so this is the next best thing, right? Again, another Japanese-style RPG that you guys love to bash, yet this game will somehow miraculously be better than Final Fantasy, right? Ah hell, make it three points for Xbox now.
11) Dead or Alive Ultimate: I'm buying it. Make it four points for Xbox.
12) Fable: Might be good.....five points.
13) B.C: Could be good as well. Six points.
14) Kameo: Cancelled, so basically, no score here.
15) Silent Hill 4. Multiplatform.
16) Full Spectrum Warrior: Can't control your own dude? Bah! But I will give you boys a point for it. Make it seven for Xbox.
17) Doom 3: On the PC as well so no points for you! Still at seven points.
18) Half-Life 2: This is getting old, just like Xbox getting so many PC ports is getting old. No points for you! Still holding at seven.
19) Far Cry: On the PC as well. Still at seven and holding.
20) Hitman Contracts: Multiplatform. No bonus points here.
21) Call of Duty-Finest Hour: Already on the PC! Geez!
22) Psychonauts: Remains to be seen if Schaefer's team can pull off a good platformer that doesn't rely on mouse controls. But it gets a point for being exclusive. Eight now.
23) Steel Battalion Line of Contact: SCORE!!! A big whopping point for the game that you have to already have invested TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS to even play! YAH!
24) Starcraft Ghost: Multiplatform. Nine points guys.
25) Halo 2: Make it ten. This will be good, I have no doubts.
So...wow....ten whopping games that are both exclusive and may actually be good. Yeah, this is the way to kick PS2 & Gamecube's ass.

really puts the PS2's entire library to shame if you ask me.

Looks like another good year for Xbox, upcoming. Full Spectrum Warrior looks very promising, and then the rest of the good games pretty much speak for themselves.

Err Call of Duty- FINEST HOUR....
what part of the finest hour did you miss? This is not a port from the PC version, its a totally different game just like Medal of Honor: Frontline was different from Allied Assault. Man get your facts straight.
However its still isn't exclusive, since I saw it coming for PS2 as well in my PSM.

Let me comment on this game. What we have here is a (potentially) deep strategy game that will provide gamers with (potentially) good single AND multiplayer experiences. Here is something that breaks away from the norm of FPS's and racers on Xbox. Something that takes away direct control from the gamer and provides something that is very unordinary for a console game. If this game can pull off what it claims it can do, we will have something that will diversify the Xbox (and more importantly the Xbox Live) lineup even more. I actually look forward to playing this.

To sum this all up:All multiplatform titles most likely will look and playbetter on the Xbox and the Gamecube like most games have in the past. The PS2's version always sells the best but always has the worst reviews of the three.Cant deny that fact. That pretty much takes a dump on your entire Xbox hater thread Enforcer.
Plus I didnt see Ninja Gaiden on the list.Whats up with that?

1) Splinter Cell Pandora Tommorow: Isn't this on EVERY system? Next.
Actually, PT has been delayed on PS2 and GC due to quality issues. Ubi Soft ants to hold off on the games until they can optimize them for the other two systems. And it will look better on Xbox anyway. Next.
2) Breakdown: This game looks like ass. Kinda like House of the Dead without a lightgun and lamer bad-guys.
Fraid you'll be in the minority on this one. Looks to be quite an experience with some real FPS enviornmental interaction. If you drink a coke the character opens the can and drinks it. Shake hands and he shakes hands. Plus you have a girl teammate that fights along side you for some portions of the game. And the graphics look freakin mind blowing.
3) True Fantasy Live Online: After all the bashing you guys do on PS2 Jap-RPG's and especially on the Dark Cloud series, it both baffles and amuses me to no end that you guys are hyped for this one. LMAO!
For all the bashing you do of Xbox's lack of JRPGs I thought you'd be jumping for joy about this one.
4) Phantom Dust: A gay dude in garter belts. Next.
That fight online in fully interative destructible enviorments straight out of anime with upgradeable and tradable skills.
5) Matrix Online: Didn't the first Matrix game suck bad enough?
Looks like crap...
6) Driv3r: Multiplatform. Next..
So we can enjoy it on Xbox right? Or is it only fun on the other systems?
7) Rallisport Challenge. Actually, this one will be quite good. One point for Xbox.
I don't play racers anyway but apparently a lot of people who own Xboxs do so this would certainly be one fo the reasons "Xbox rulz" in 2004.
8) X-Men Legends: LOL! Multiplatform and really, really stretching for games for the list.
I thought this was supposed to be the KOTOR of this year. Personally, I didn't care much for KOTOR but a multiplayer RPG that doesn't feature the words massive multiplayer and online anywhere sounds pretty good.
9) Jade Empire: If this one crashes as bad as KOTOR, count me out. In fact, without the Star Wars license, count just about everyone out. Well, I'll give MS another point for this one. That makes two.
I won't give em a point till I see the final game. After KOTOR, I'm a little hesitent about Bioware console games and this one looks just a tad to similar for me.
10) Sudeki: Can't get a Jap-RPG, so this is the next best thing, right? Again, another Japanese-style RPG that you guys love to bash, yet this game will somehow miraculously be better than Final Fantasy, right? Ah hell, make it three points for Xbox now.
Who cares if it's "better then Final Fantasy?" People always say that Xbox doesn't have enough RPGs so here you go.
11) Dead or Alive Ultimate: I'm buying it. Make it four points for Xbox.
Virtua Fighter Evo: better game. I could care less about online.
12) Fable: Might be good.....five points.
Glad you approve of the fourth RPG this year on the system with no RPGs...
13) B.C: Could be good as well. Six points.
I agree, could be good. We'll have to wait and see.
14) Kameo: Cancelled, so basically, no score here.
Still no official word that it's been canceled though.
15) Silent Hill 4. Multiplatform.
Man, you must be in a real bind if you can't play games that are multiplat. I mean if it's a great game that happens to appear on all the platforms does that somehow decrease the enjoyment factor?
16) Full Spectrum Warrior: Can't control your own dude? Bah! But I will give you boys a point for it. Make it seven for Xbox.
Finally, someone came up with something new in the shooter genre.
17) Doom 3: On the PC as well so no points for you! Still at seven points.
Maybe I don't have a PC that can run this game (I don't) and maybe I still want to play it (I do). And I sure there's quite a few other people just like me.
18) Half-Life 2: This is getting old, just like Xbox getting so many PC ports is getting old. No points for you! Still holding at seven.
See above...
19) Far Cry: On the PC as well. Still at seven and holding.
See above...
20) Hitman Contracts: Multiplatform. No bonus points here.
Never played any of them myself.
21) Call of Duty-Finest Hour: Already on the PC! Geez!
Wrong. This is a different game.
22) Psychonauts: Remains to be seen if Schaefer's team can pull off a good platformer that doesn't rely on mouse controls. But it gets a point for being exclusive. Eight now.
I haven't kept up on this title. I guess I'll take your word for it.
23) Steel Battalion Line of Contact: SCORE!!! A big whopping point for the game that you have to already have invested TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS to even play! YAH!!
Much like FFXI on PS2 right?
24) Starcraft Ghost: Multiplatform. Nine points guys.
Not on the PC though :) Guess the knife cuts both ways...
25) Halo 2: Make it ten. This will be good, I have no doubts.
If it makes it out this year.
