Folks,
Just bought a new Kogi 19-inch LCD monitor and I am having problems with it.
First, the image becomes extremely blurry when I scroll through a Web page or document. The image becomes sharp again when I stop scrolling.
Second, I am getting a sort of flickering when I play the computer game Dark Age of Camelot. The problem seems most pronounced where trees and sky meet.
I suspected my refresh rate is set too low, but my Windows control panel won't let let me change it. I am given the options of "adapter default," "optimal" or "60 Hz." But the monitor is supposed to work at up to 75 Hz at my current resolution, 1024x768.
I have an Nvidia GeForce2 MX 400 video card. Tried downloading the latest drivers, no effect. I'm running Win Me, and there don't seem to be any relevant Windows Updates.
Any suggestions? Is this just normal for LCDs? The ones at my office don't seem to have these problems. And even if this were normal, why am I getting no refresh change options?
I'd appreciate suggestions.
