Mech2 is an old game, Mr. Mod. Let me put it to you this way... it was released across 3 different platforms, at three different times - with the newest release being for the Sega Saturn! Point being, that's well before the PS2's time.

However, one of those versions was for the PS1. Soooo... you should be able to play the game on your PS2. :p

You do know who's publishing and developing the series now, right?

Thanks, & yes, I know Mech 2 is old [very old in fact ;) ]. I'm on this retro kick in gaming, for all platforms, lol. [dug up a 7 yr old 'bot game Starsiege & havnt been able to stop]
I've been searching for the Mech Titanium package [pc, which contained M2], & was told M2 may have been released for PS/PS2. Hence my "Q".

I admit to being out of the loop on whos currently dev of Mech series, school me!

And lately I've been recalling the grand ole days of the Colecovision! Of course, the games are only my memory right now... because, like a chump, I got rid of my system many, many moons ago. :( [*sigh*] And because these "classic gaming compilations" just aren't cutting the mustard for me, I've got to try to find these systems of yesteryear at the flee market, or something. So never again! Never again will I get rid of another system! :mad:

I don't think we'll be seeing any more Mechwarrior games come to a Playstation console. :p

Mechwarrior 2, yes. Glockstar was right about it being released on the PS1. However, the other Mechwarrior 2 game titled Mercenaries wasn't released on any console I know of. I've still got it lying around for my PC.
